8/4/2024 3:02pm You clearly do not understand how the world works. Have a nice life.....provided by those who pay and paid for the freedoms you enjoy today. ********** To those who get it....Seeing this kind of mentality so much these days. America has grown so weak....we are in deep shit.

Lil progress on this mini, come a long way from a gang of parts in boxes. Carb needs attention and the front master cylinder needs rebuilt. I may actually be able disturb the neighbors this weekend! Millenium really surprised me with their quality, what a great shop. Still a few odds and ends to come, bars, controls etc. My next focus will be the graphics. Sharing my process in the last pic. The green outline was first pass and the darker brown is the iteration. Basically you have to start somewhere. I start with taking a picture of the plastics...

8/1/2024 7:01pm Thanks Inferno I enjoy your comments. Those 125 louvers bow a little bit. I have to remove plastic material on all four of the keepers in order to get them to fit. But at $30 or so a side they are priced right for new. Yes, a tiny little work space I have. Just enough to build one bike thankfully. The big reason why putting all four together at the same time was not practical. Plus doing one at a time resulted in sole focus on that one. The other upside was greater anticipation of what to expect when building...

7/23/2024 5:00am Lower motor in the frame with a ProX piston original bore size. The original piston was in great shape. But I had to give it a freshie. With that in I threw the jug on. Made sure to coat all the metal against metal with some synthetic 2 stroke oil. Crank bearings were lubed with this same oil. All other bearings received the Maxima assembly lube. This image shows the grey darken than it actually is. I kept tinting the center case color with black for this outside cover. All four of these bikes will show a color progression on...

7/20/2024 8:29pm Looks like I grabbed some before pictures and after. I got lazy and just selected this bunch. These appear to be after I have removed casting lines on the cylinder and prior to smoothing/polishing. There are images of the smoothing work that I did. Since this was the last motor of the four I managed to really smooth as much as I could. Various wheels on a Dremel is what I used. My method for cleaning out circular passageways. I wonder how many who build their own motors go to this effort. Cylinder is ready for tape off and spraying...

7/11/2024 9:10pm Updated the 1992. Changes… New side panels, rear fender, radiator shrouds, graphics/warning stickers, tank. Newer restored airbox, 92-94 hub, relaced front wheel to smaller axle style. Used year appropriate forks and triples. Changed out caliper and master cylinder. Quite a bit actually but I had to since the 96-93 came out to a newer standard for me. Make no mistake it was quite a bit of work since I had to restore and Cerakote another set of front hangers and associated parts. Forks needed new seals and general clean up. Before. I know, looks no different.

Here is a rough sketch of what I am thinking. I researched the honda racing woody woodpecker and it seems the original was called mr horsepower. So I am thinking of incorporating the original like the honda racing style.. and sort of blending it into the 96 CR type. And I love the number Shimoda is running so I am thinking of lifting it for this mini. Again, just playing with ideas but I think this could work.. waddaya think? Thumbs up/down?

7/8/2024 5:47am Yes, a DG pipe. I don’t even remember which one of these had this originally. I believe the first bike I bought of these mid 90 CRs had the original pipe. The other five all had aftermarket. I was able to buy two more original pipes. I would prefer to have all these bikes with the stock pipes. The DG was straighter and gave me few issues. These are mid 90 era CR125 radiator grills. They work well with simple modifications. Best of all they are new and can be readily purchased. I’m super pleased I had the presence of...

The line is clear but the master cylinder, christ almighty. I cleaned it all out but needs new piston seals. After cleaning it was leaking out the behind the piston when I tried to check the old seals. But the rear brakes work great now

7/5/2024 7:06am The 93 is almost done…I got to get this 94 posted along with the shots of the three together… So close… Rear wheel on. Chains a little tight.. I loosened it. 2 inches of free play.So says the sticker on the swingarm. Rads on. Those airboxes were some work. Getting that inner cage cleaned up and re-coated was totally worth it. They look like new. Oh yeah…Smoothed. ProCircuit silencer. Had to use since one it was original to this bike when I bought it and two, it has a period correct end cap. So I spent probably a couple hours...
