3/21/2015 3:04pm Strijbos, Big Ken, Coldenhoff, Paulin, Desalle, Van Horebeek, Nagl, Febreve, Bengtsson & Tony are all very capable in the sand of Lommel & Valkensward. RV should consider a 6-10th overall a victory. If he can get out of there with only a 10-15 point loss on the leaders he will still be in the running pointwise.

3/19/2015 9:48pm The Europeans live near and train all year around at the Lommel circuit, so it was expected that Team USA would run into difficulties retaining the Chamberlain Trophy, but not many people expected their speed to be that inferior on the soft stuff. When you look at the times below, you will definitely scratch your heads wondering how any mortal...

3/19/2015 9:41pm It could be a 1 min vid but it doesn't change the fact that through that section he was not comfortable or competitive. Anyone familiar with Lommel will attest to that obvious observation.Could of been a lot of reasons for the lackluster performance through that section but that's what is on that clip.

3/19/2015 8:41pm Realist not in a blind patriotic denial. He could podium or not podium, simple. It's the actual act of attempting that has me impressed.

3/19/2015 8:19pm KRT took a 2nd behind Tony last year at Lommel so I would say François knows his "track settings." The unproven in the equation is the new talent that rides for him.. He could romp or he could flop, only race day will tell.

3/19/2015 7:18pm Riding half ass in the sand to confirm settings is unproductive, plus practice "play time" at Lommel is just that, play time, smooth track no serious race damage. KRT & François know that track like the back of their hand so bike settings are no mystery, RV is the mystery.

3/19/2015 6:49pm "Bit of work" is a understatement. Pretty sad and the track wasn't even a monster yet. He's getting sucked down and not attacking and flowing on top like a experienced sand rider. lotta practice needed there.

3/18/2015 8:03pm Uddevalla is a rock quarry. It is a hard pack. And it is a tradition for it to rain during the weekend there. Corners rut up to concrete deep lines and the top part is a nightmare of stones rising to the surface. Tony has reoccurring nightmares about Uddevalla mud.

3/13/2015 8:22pm I agree 100% with your thoughts. The fly aways should be held at a established track and the MX Club that runs the track should be part of the proceeds collected like in most tracks in Europe. The private promoter scheme has not been a pretty situation as of late..

3/13/2015 8:13pm Lower top 10 is 6-10th, you called 2-5th. connect the dots. RV off the podium is realistic. Will RV make it to Lommel is the big question.Oh, forgot Jeremy in my sand monster category, my mistake. That takes RV down one more spot,

3/12/2015 6:47pm A realist...With the depth of GP sand riders RV has a good chance of a lower top 10.Sand monsters, Strijbos, de Dyker, Paulin, Desalle, Febvre, Coldenhoff, Philippaerts,Frossard and Mr Tony will be putting on a sand riding school. No podium for Captain America at Lommel

3/12/2015 6:29pm That's the stuff, testing your setting at a less than race pace so they will be set for a race pace, makes perfect sense

3/10/2015 1:16pm Good observation. A new track surface that looks soft, but could turn into red jungle concrete with watering, we are not there so it's all speculation.
