Looks like a big improvement on the first 2. It's not what you'd call a classic, but it looks like a good modern GP track. Looks sort of like a slightly flatter version of Matterley with similar soil to Uddevalla. Obviously we won't see how good it really is till next weekend, but early signs are promising

I don't know about the soil mate. The color looks similar but this one seems to be more sandy, at least from the pictures. Never been to Uddevalla but from the TV footage it seems like it has more of a rocky base.

You might be right, I have to be honest that judgement was made mainly on the fact that the soil looks similar in colour to Uddevalla. And I've also heard some people say that area of the world is quite a bit like Scandinavia. Guess we'll just have to see how it shapes up next week
It's glacial silt, very different consistency than most any other surface.

I would doubt it's sandy.

Uddevalla is a rock quarry. It is a hard pack. And it is a tradition for it to rain during the weekend there. Corners rut up to concrete deep lines and the top part is a nightmare of stones rising to the surface. Tony has reoccurring nightmares about Uddevalla mud.

Adam Sterry will compete in the MX2. He'll use the KTM of Nicholls, who's bike is already in Argentina. Rebuilding a 350cc to a 250cc is not a problem, so Steve Turner decided to give Sterry a chance.
