Track definitely soft in places, but will shape up for the night show. They prepared for the worst and it did not occur. Could have left triples and whoops in.

Those of you who have spent time in Birmingham, feel free to chime in. I’ll try to add on throughout the day. Things to do: Barber Motorsports Park - Bucket list destination. Largest motorcycle museum on the planet. If you go before the night show, set an alarm. Oh yeah, it also has one of the best road courses in...

They’re close. Need to finish and get the tarps in place. If they play their cards right, we will have a great race Saturday regardless of the rain.

Live camera view. Looks like a normal build so far. Maybe build it normal first, then cut them down later if needed?https://www.weatherstem.com/livestream?mjpeg_uri=202e68725f8dc7d70568ad… updates every minute

I love how people have posted the response Yamaha gave pulp several times and it gets ignored and people keep posting what they think it was. Pulp reported that Yamaha told him it was a leaking Valve cover gasket. I guess sometimes its more fun to think up what it could be, rather than know what it was?

We are staying at a hotel a couple of blocks away as well, save the stress of parking and traffic leaving the stadium. Walk around a bit, go to the pit party, etc. (also praying for good weather). I hope this venue does well, it is great having another SX in the south!

I was really hoping ATL was going to be a SMX round this season. With that said, BHM has potential to be a great race if the weather cooperates. For any of y’all coming down, highly recommend visiting Barber Motorsports Park. It’s the largest motorcycle museum on the planet and has a kick ass road course as well. If you...

I’ve personally built some sets, so I’ve seen them. I also ran the photos by a few other techs and they agreed with what the lugs and cartridges are. Some of the best in the business signed off on my position on it. Also, the lugs for the conversion kit are made by a man I know for Technical Touch. He happened to be at the race, I walked up to him and showed him the photos. I asked if they’re his lugs, he said they were without missing a beat. Im going to play the I can’t say card...

Well, well, well… How would we all feel if KTM “crew management” was seen YELLING at Michael over this? Late in the night…as the teams were packing up…? I’m hearing stories of Michael getting a COMPLETE RATION OF SHIT…getting yelled at…for simply reporting what was RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIS FACE (aka, Obvious to anyone that knows what there looking at)…someone at the KTM Team was pissed that… SOMEONE NOTICED THE NEW HARDWARE ON THIER BIKE?! You know, obvious hardware on their bike that was rolling around the pits, sitting under their canopy, rolling down the chute, thru the tunnel…in...

That is nuts. I understand CA initiative to push further into the green sphere, but not allowing a man to install a backup generator for his home. WTH?

Apologies for quality, but snapped a pic of a fan recorded video of the main. Tomac’s bike is literally smoking on the first lap, two turns into the race. Something was NOT right with that bike from jump street.

If I was Star I would be contacting some of the best metallurgists around to test prototype plates. Maybe something pre-existing in the aerospace realm can provide quality feel and increased reliability.
Statement ride by Jett tonight. Track was brutal and favored those who were willing to accept more calculated risk. Chase returning to form. Eli’s bike challenges at least partly self inflicted. He was losing noticeable time during corner exit once bike started smoking. I wasn’t confident that bike was going to make it across the finish line. Eli is rougher...
