Mudders suck! I mean one or two are fine but racing is so much faster and exciting when you can see the guys actually ride and hit quads instead of duck walk on top of their bikes

I hope next year Feld focuses on getting 15 of 17 covered stadiums. This is just BS this year. Enough is enough. Supercross is supposed to be a controlled environment racing. Weather involved races are a motocross thing, not supercross.

Um.....

If they have to wait right until the show to pull the plastic off the field there might not be as much exposed concrete on the sidelines...... just sayin'

Dang that stadium looks tiny. How many does it seat?

y'know someone says Biblical like...everytime this subject comes up, and not to complain but, we get it - there's like a small joke in there saying "Biblical" to emphasize that the OP is over reacting. here's the problem - the rain has jacked up some races significantly this year, so no, no one was over reacting, and second, it's an overused tripe with no originality. We get the joke, but let's get creative or stay home. we don't need to see "Biblical" on EVERY RAIN POST.

Biblical!

It will only rain for 39 days and 39 nights because God said it wouldn't rain again for 40 days and 40 nights.

Jet ski races today in the infield.

I remember someone saying it's similar in size to Snapdragon, that's a football stadium with small sidelines...  So yeah, smaller than most, but not arena tiny.

Im so sick of mud.

I asked Ricky if Daytona's dirt came from a different place this year and he assured it came from the same place. I assume the rains that pushed the 500 back a day had more to do with such a soft Daytona even before it rained Friday night.

I hope there are no more mud supercrosses because its relatively boring watching guys just trying to survive. Im sure its wrecking budgets too. Even more so for the privateers.

Rain or sun, one thing is for sure, my couch will be dry and I will enjoy the racing either way lol.

They’re close. Need to finish and get the tarps in place. If they play their cards right, we will have a great race Saturday regardless of the rain.

Yeah I'm not the best at sand put me in the rocks lol but sand is always better when it's wet!

That's why I love watching the pros hit the sand. I'm in awe

I think we are starting to see evolution of the modern football or baseball stadium outpace Feld's profit margins. Hence more and more races moving outdoors. They went to the new Mercedes Benz stadium in Atlanta for a few years, but it was rumoured to be very expensive. These new stadiums don't really want an event like SX or Monster Jam in there in the first place, but they might if Feld pays them a big fee.

There's an ebb and flow to this and new stadiums are only new for a little while. Everything that gets built now has retractable roof so in few years the novelty and excess cost will go away and there will be plenty to choose from. I believe there are far more than 17 cities and venues capable of hosting a kick ass supercross weekend. Would personally love to see one state no longer getting so much love and some other places get a chance but such is the business.....
