I talked to a team manager who said they were worried about the build out of the track. Not sure they could do it just like Oakland last year.

There was also talk about cancelling the GNCC this coming week or just staying in Florida at the same venue. Supposedly it was too muddy as of Sunday to even get vehicles into the Georgia property.

y'know someone says Biblical like...everytime this subject comes up, and not to complain but, we get it - there's like a small joke in there saying "Biblical" to emphasize that the OP is over reacting. here's the problem - the rain has jacked up some races significantly this year, so no, no one was over reacting, and second, it's an overused tripe with no originality. We get the joke, but let's get creative or stay home. we don't need to see "Biblical" on EVERY RAIN POST.

You have now just incentivized everyone to continue making the joke.

They can build a track. It’s no problem. Just won’t be typical track.

The reason they postponed Oakland last year was because they couldn't build the track, not because they couldn't race the track.

They canceled it because They couldn’t safely hold the event. They obviously couldn’t make a real sx track but later during an interview they flat out said they had plans to build a  track and run the race if they could have done so safely. Maybe somebody with some free time can link that for you. Maybe it was pulp interview?? Don’t remember.

I still cant believe we lost Atlanta to Birmingham... However, they have the BEST dirt in the country hands down if they being the good stuff in like Millcreek or Monster Mountain has.

Why, why why do we need to discuss the weather before each round?

The gate will still drop regardless...

The date is set...rain or shine...or whatever...

.....and I'll be on my sofa so I don't give a flying hoot.....be it a murder or dry as a bone.

If we rearrange some of your words, add whiskey or beer, we could have a country hit on our hands!

Tomorrow and Thursday weather should be good enough to get the track down.  Then cover for most of Friday and early Saturday.  Had to be accurate as to when it stops Saturday morning at this point.  I would bet no Press day riding but then good to go.  Weather prediction is almost as hard as not sucking at Fantasy SX at this point.

Birmingham going to look like burning man this year. Bring on the mud.

I'm usually a fan of one mud race a year. That being said, bring it on this weekend, I love the close points, how unpredictable it's been and how it has shaken things up this season.

Although I do feel terrible for the Feld crew, track workers, mechanics/teams ect. And some privateers that don't have help between heats. But other than that, let's race!
