For sure. I wasn't ever really clear how that was supposed to work. This might be the smoking gun for me now that you point it out. He just might not have the negotiating weight he used to now that Chase and Jett are right there.

I'd have to imagine there's far more to the story, KR94 isn't simply the innocent victim here. He committed himself to a competing SX series that his sponsor wasn't committed to supplying equipment for, a series that is actually attempting to conflict/compete against the series he's paid to race . Yeah, Honda probably did have an issue with it.

Does anyone know if that Instagram post was before or after he heard from Honda about being passed on? I could see that Honda could be tipped to drop him if they have Jet coming in and he kind of insults them out between contracts. He really couldn't be that dumb or impulsive, right?

Not commenting on whether this is fair, as I feel like the four year ban really is based around the olympic cycle, and well... not really fair for a sport with such a short career span, but these guys are so calculated with what they eat, consume and how they train. How does something like that "slip" past an athlete? If you knew that there is testing at each event and failing would lose you four years of work, wouldn't you be insanely carful and know what you're consuming?
