Scrambled Added a reply to Convert auto rekluse to manual
7/15/2020 3:14am No, you have to buy a new Rekluse pressure plate to turn it back into a manual clutch. Then just replace the EXP. disc with the clutch plate that was removed. At least that's what you have to do if you have the Rekluse Core EXP 3.0 setup. If you only have the Rekluse EXP 3.0 then it's just a...

Scrambled Started a new thread 110/90-19 on a 1.85 rim.
7/8/2020 5:43am Hi all, sorry in advance if this question has been asked before. I've just received some tyres in the post and the shop have sent me a 110/90 - 19 in error for my 250f. (I ordered a 100/90 - 19). They've told me that they won't have the size I want for 2 weeks and I have a Hare...

2/28/2020 5:48am There are companies out there that specialize in drain plug repair bolts. A couple of years back I was looking for something for my Honda CR125 and found a company that made 1mm oversize with the same pitch, which means you could just chase the old thread through with the tap that came with the kit. I've just had a...

2/26/2020 5:30am 100% man.. Well said Early in the hospital I was so convinced I could will my recovery with crazy goals and what I thought was 'positive thinking', like in 1 month I'll have this back and in 2 months I'll have this back and every time I would 'fail' I would get down.. Then my physio just said to me "look this may be all you get back focus on living like this and anything else is a bonus" I wanted to kill him but he was exactly right.. I get by on thinking positively (it's different to positive thinking...

Scrambled Added a reply to the lack of chest protectors
2/26/2020 5:24am I wouldn't ride without mine. I use a fox titan body suit. It's a bit cheap and nasty, but covers chest, back, shoulders, forearms and elbows. I'm sure it's saved me plenty of times.

2/19/2020 4:13am Any time I've tried to get anyone to watch my cam footage, it takes about 2 minutes before their eyes start to glaze over. I suppose my videos are just not exciting/interesting enough. They're a great idea, but are they really necessary? In my case probably not.

2/19/2020 4:05am Exactly my point. I wore the camcorder in the camelback with the wired cam taped to my helmet in the early 2000s. I’ve also worn newer HD go pros. But regardless of the quality, I just don’t care to re-watch it back. Reminds me of the people at a concert who are video taping the entire time on their cell phone, like they’re actually going to re watch that someday.

7/22/2019 6:36am Thanks, I'll do the forks before this weekend. Will have to drop the shock off somewhere though.

7/22/2019 6:35am I guarantee you have had degraded performance. You many not be able to feel it since it goes away slowly as the fluid breaks down but its inevitable. Old broken down oil will have lost its viscosity by now so your not getting your true damping that your valving is set up for, and its causing exaggerated wear on your bushings because of the suspended particles in the fluid. Your ride is overdue for oil, bushings, and seals. Do it ALL AT THE SAME TIME and freshen that thing up. You'll be surprised the change it'll have, youll think your...

7/22/2019 1:11am 04 yz 125,250, and yz/wr 250, 450f all use the same bolt according to the parts fiche, but a newer bolt will work... old part number, 5XE-22122-00-00 will interchange with the new number of 1C3-22122-00-00... actual part number is the same as the first three digits only indicate model code for Yamaha... as long as the second number in the series is the same they will interchange, the 3rd indicates design change/updates and the 4th indicates product finish...

7/22/2019 1:09am I've been extremely lazy, my fork oil has be in for almost 70 hours and still on the original fork seals from new (2 years). I drop the dust seals every few rides, clean and apply a bit of grease. Bike is used for moto practice and hare Scrambles. Must try to get that oil changed by this weekend.

7/20/2019 11:53am I've just had a look on Fowlers (Bristol) parts fiche. The bolts from a 2001 and 2004 don't look the same. Try using their parts fiche and cross referencing. The 2005 bolt looks similar to the 2004 bolt.

7/20/2019 3:26am After re-reading the manual I'm, pleased to say that it is possible to change the fork oil by just removing the fork cap. Changing the fork oil on the PSF2 is a simple job after all. Just in case there are any other numpties like myself out there that were wondering, don't panic, it's an easy job..
