7/6/2023 11:27pm No shit.... some people have no sense. And I'm a Suzuki man.... Underneath it all, it's just an old, forgotten, RMZ 450 that nobody gives 2 shits about. Probably an old show bike, that had a dressed dummie sitting on it beside the rig that entire year. Maybe it was used for practice at home a bit, who knows???

I generally like Ken. Amazing talent. Mad respect for his battle back from horrendous injuries. Screaming cheered his SX win with the kickstarter this year... ...but be honest with yourself, he is a bit of a whiner and excuse maker.

7/6/2023 1:21pm Holy shit man...don't criticize anything Roczen...you'll invoke the wrath of the easily offended mob. (See Kens bike thread) I thought the same thing when I saw the vid of him doing that jump. While very cool, as a team leader paying salaries or sponsors, I'd be pissed.

7/6/2023 7:32am Hi-Torque publishing was the best in moto when I was a kid. MXA, Dirt Bike and Cycle News kept me checking the mailbox for years. RIP Mr. Hinz

7/6/2023 7:31am The most impressive, ground-breaking thing Roland did was to green light allowing Hunky and every other writer to thumb their noses at the advertising department (and writers at other pubs). Their tests and opinions were honestly legit. If they found a bike to be unrideable, they said so. Example: The Widowmaker TM400 Suzuki. https://motocrossactionmag.com/the-worst-bikes-i-ever-raced-by-jody-wei…

7/6/2023 7:30am I know we take some small joy in knocking MXA occasionally on here but Roland Hinz, the man behind Hi-Torque Publications (MXA, DirtBike, etc) passed away today… RIP and thoughts with his family and friends.

7/6/2023 3:34am I really wonder how WSX is a "prestigious championship" in any way. As a show, it's rather weak, and as far as determining who's the best SX rider in the world, it's totally meaningless.

7/5/2023 2:21pm It's not the schedule; more events is not going to be very welcome given the number of existing dates. And it does not sound like the promoter's goal is a niche series of a few rounds slotted into the existing MX/SX offseason. They have to compete head to head for talent by making it worth more to riders to participate there than the OEMs and sponsors pay them to ride the existing US Series or the GPs. There is no way around that unless one of the existing series folds.

7/5/2023 2:20pm CPR will comment soon to tell you why the wsx schedule is brilliant. He has to be getting paid or know the wsx people at this point. Dude is balls deep(as pulp would say)in defending wsx.

7/5/2023 2:20pm A couple of these Aussies are letting national pride get in the way of common sense and they are having a hard time seeing beyond the flag…CPR’s not too bad though but he is definitely a little bit of an Adam Bailey cheerleader…

7/5/2023 8:25am First, saying that the teams don't care about their riders doing off season races abroad is wrong. There have been multiple cases of racers wanting to go and their teams not letting them. Second, a one off race and a championship are two very different things...
Rad76 Liked a reply to forum topic Ducati + Webb 2024 Rumor
7/5/2023 5:02am The Ducati MX bike is a real thing and will make noise when it arrives, with high ends techs never seen before on a MX bike and great quality products. The Webb rumor is totally false, don't expect them in the US before at least two or three years, although they indeed speak with teams. One making a lot of sense, let's wait and see. They expect to be in MXGP maybe to get their feet in 2024, not sure, but with a rider able to win in 2025. Exciting times.

7/5/2023 4:40am Correct me if I'm wrong, but it's been a long time there's been some quite good SX with top level riders to watch live in Australia, no?

7/5/2023 1:57am Aranda had two good "GPs" and blew it in the third... Overall, the French pretty much sucked, lol... As for storytelling, maybe I'm underenthusiastic about WSX, but you sure seem overenthusiastic to me. Let's say you see (and write) a lot of things I really don't see -or just don't exist. More of a nice feelgood story than the actual...

7/5/2023 1:49am "So wsx is hurting their own series by starting it in the middle of the nationals so they are unable to get the top guys. Not only is it competing with the us nationals, but it is also competing with the mxgp series which is those guys only series so those guys are definitely not missing those races. " That's...

7/4/2023 3:43am Oh no, it's just that regarding WSX, your storytelling is sooooooooo far away from everything I see (as I'm a nice guy, I restrained myself from writing my first thought "from the truth")... By the way, I'm French. And I still think there already was a way better, way more legit supercross world championship before WSX. It's actually still the...
