2 options: A. The facebook post is lying to get attention and to bash on California B. That's not a real Honda and the importer didn't do the proper paperwork to get them legal to ride off road. This happened a lot with the Chinese Pit Bike Craze. Lots of little pop up shops were selling them for cash and pretending like they didn't need a title transfer to the new owner because that cost them more money in fees

Is there anything more official than a facebook post on this? There are no emissions, so i don't understand how it can't meet emission standards...doesn't seem like we are getting the whole story here...like others mentioned, it could be a technicality with the VIN number or something...Or...it is California...so I wouldn't be surprised at all that they won't allow a zero emission bike, for exceeding the emission standards...they are THAT ridiculous there...

Um, not to throw a wrench in all your spokes, but if you listened to the recent interview with John Tomac, you'd know. There's a suspension guy nicknamed "Gilly" that now works at Star. He once worked at Kawasaki with Eli, and before that at Geico with Eli. To Eli, this guy is a Merlin-like wizard with suspension and chassis setup. When Kawasaki canned him, it broke Eli's heart. It was only a matter of time before they got back together, and now that they have, the results speak for themselves. Eli appears genuinely joyous, and almost seems to toy...
