Anyone else not able to find the Indy replay on Peacock? Not to mention you search Supercross and all the results are mixed up by date so you can't even look for what race you want.

I'm pretty sure this was after Chisolmgate and Js7 was owed one.

However... thanks for posting a video that shows the correct time to send it....

halfway through a main, halfway through a season, while on probation, isn't that time...

Barcia is the most exciting racer on the line, and you know what to expect when he's up front. I do think that it's comical when he says, every year, "I'm a different rider now, I've matured".

I watched the race with some non-moto people last night and when I saw Bam Bam and Anderson up front I knew we were in for something good.

It’s a shit show, Peacock app. I found it though, not sure why it seems harder then it should to find the reply.

Bam Bam didn't mean to about as much as those who get DUIs were over served. If that's what racing on probation looks like, looking foward to seeing what racing off probation looks like.

Barcia overjumped because he was planning to take the inside line and cross in front of Anderson. He needed to overjump to make up the distance he was behind.

He had decided that before he even hit that jump because he knew everyone was taking the outside line.

That happened because Stewart "turned down"...

I am being sarcastic.

Eli truly shows he is a much better rider than most of them. He always waits to make a clean pass which is much harder to do.

Of course, that has undoubtedly cost him some wins though.
I would just say he uses his brain more than most others.

Of all the ‘high profile incidents’ this season, I actually thought that this may have been the mildest and the closest one to a ‘racing incident’ of all of them. I was hoping that Anderson didn’t fall, but it really didn’t seem dirty.

i’m still trying to figure out why Ando just plowed into Barcia like that … it seemed to be pretty intentional by the way he squared it off on the berm, took aim, and just T boned him!!!

Surprised to hear this news this morning. That corner was designed that way intentionally to allow that kind of pass. That pass is as old as supercross. I’m not a fan of either of these guys but I think a penalty in this situation is not consistent enforcement by the ama.

Why is “being there” always some sort of be all end all for opinion. Thst means you saw it from whatever row you were in and s bunch of times on a jumbo-tron. We were watching replays from all angles on HD TV. We had the better vantage point.

Never said it was some sort of an end all, don't really care about your replays either. This corner was designed such that this type of pass happened all night long. Take a look at the 250 main, did Pierce Brown get docked and fined for the same move on Jordan Smith? It was the same corner and almost identical to Barcia / JA. There were others as well but this was the closest example. It was around 7 minutes into the main...
Nothing wrong with what Barcia did in my opinion. He did not rail directly into JA and take him out. He was racing and going for it. I would feel the same if JA took Barcia out.

Last I checked, there didn't need to be an end all to an opinion as that is exactly what it is... an opinion.

Opinion - a belief based on experience and on certain facts but not amounting to sure knowledge, belief stronger than impression and less strong than positive knowledge

The thing is they all could have done that move to another rider during the race but didn't.

However, I would imagine, Anderson while unhappy, knows he can't really complain about it.

He was on the good side of the collisions at the beginning of the year and not so much lately.

When did our sport get so soft? I remember 125A being a bash fest, let alone how it was in the early 1990’s….this is a contact sport. There are lines to be drawn but awareness of those around you has to be taken into account. I could sit and cry that my first national in 2000 was cut short by Paul carpenter sending me over the bars at south wick…..but I don’t because I turned down and he was there on the gas, totally my fault. It’s racing. Everyone in the 1990’s would have been fined like crazy if it was viewed this way back then

How long before there will be penalties for any contact anywhere on the track?

Man was trying to thread the needle…. Racing.

30+ regionals hit harder than that. For nothing but a ticket to Loretta’s Lynn’s.

What an absolute joke SX is pathetic, Anderson has just as much responsibility to be looking up from his visor in that situation. Barcia was behind him, ultra-wide corner & he had every opportunity to move if he was actually looking up.

Do you ride? Sometimes you need to look down, getting your front wheel in a rut etc..
Anderson didn’t expect Barcia to be going sideways across the straightaway (even though he probably should have)

He should have been checking the line braking into the apex of the corner in my opinion, it was an obvious read from any rider back there & x10 when you know It's Barcia.

It looked like 21 arced the corner and tucked in and head down from the traction leaving the corner seeing it was all traction from that berm, at least from what I could see.

Barcia didn't go and put it into him, Barcia just blocked the line. Dumb move for sure, a risky move for sure but it's on both of them. These penalties are a crap shoot.

Thought exercise. Does being on probation necessitate a penalty, regardless of the contact severity or type?

If he wasn't on probation, can anyone say with a straight face that he needs a penalty... because there is a long history of that pass in SX.

To me, the probation has to be considered in light of the pass executed. If he went high, hit him hard and put him over the berm, an actual aggressive hit, sure, that's "aggressive riding".

I don't see how probation should prohibit him from a passing manoeuvre we've regularly seen and would otherwise shake our head and say that's racing.

Further, what does probation and a penalty do if this is the outcome? 3K? Bam drives Lambos! 3 points? Who gives a shit, he's 50 points back and he'd look at it like a damn pickup pass if that's the penalty. Don't attempt it and lose the points, attempt and most of the time get away with it – as he has!

Either fucking do it or don't. Make the penalty a deterrent, or acknowledge the history of the sport being littered with moves like this and let it go, frontier justice, especially since the dude on the bad end has done it three times this year.

The Big Gorilla is correct!

I think everyone knows I'm about as "In Anderson's Corner" as one can get; but, damn! I've gotta roll with Crush on this!

But, then there's the perfect pic from FIREfish:

Justin is going 90 degrees ACROSS the track...90 degrees to the Race Line. That's a bit extreme. I usually don't see that unless someone is TOTALLY "out of control"; but, as I've said else-where...Justin's goin' for a win...for the money.

Here's one I don't think I've seen in here, so far: Jason IS NOT "looking up" and that is greatly impacting his situational awareness. That's something I personally work on...a lot.

You must have not seen the 250 main because McAdoo put this same move on Jett and the 19 year old kid knew enough to cut down to avoid him.

That’s not even in the same ball park as barcias move. Mcadoo went straight up the middle of the corner at a similar angle to Jett giving him an opportunity to square him up. Barcia hits the gas on the triple landing, basically runs the tuff block over on his way to using Jason as a berm. you’re just watching and being entertained so it’s “good racing “ but if someone did this stupid shit every week in your local +40 B class where you don’t have J Bone to penalize, there would be yelling and fighting in the pits.
Also, how come anytime this happens with Barcia we have excuse wizards in here breaking down mathematics, angles, situational awareness. He apologized on the track but then on the podium he can’t even get his words together right because he knows it was questionable at best. Seems to be only him that this continually happens with.

Aggressive move, maybe even a dumb move, but the moment Barcia crossed over the center of the turn, he had the lead. It was Anderson's responsibility to go around Barcia.

I truly do not know how a factory rider, a supercross champion at that, can have this issue. Dude walked right into Barcia's trap on that one.
