He's originally from my hometown near Syracuse, NY. I've watched a documentary that talked about how he was hit by a car before he made it big riding BMX and had bad head trauma. he wasn't even supposed to ride BMX anymore, but he obviously did and kicked ass. i wouldn't be surprised if that original head trauma along with...

hello all, I've been riding moto for over 10 years and I've been doing the vintage road bike thing for a couple years but I'm new to vintage mx. Scored a 76 cr125m from my uncle for free! It's pretty beat but the deal is I told him I'd fix it up nice and let him ride it. I was...

Justin, What are the pros/cons between steel and aluminum frames? Was it a noticeable difference? Can you now beat your brother on the reg? How does he feel about that? Good luck the rest of the year!

I think you would get used to the handlebar rear brake lever quickly and eventually it would be a big advantage. It just plain makes more sense and is much easier to use, just need to adapt. I think young kids growing up with no foot break ingrained into there head could be stupid fast with this. Ppl hated four...

I think the fact that you could have a rear break lever on your handlebars and no shifting makes it possible to go faster easier. No moving your feet around, just feet on the pegs and you can totally focus on breaking points and your turns. If they match performance and price to gas bikes i think electric bikes will...

I have to disagree, the energy level was low but I found them extremely informative and knowledgeable about the sport which our commentators seem to be lacking here in the states. Pair one of them up with Langston and that's a good combo.

I actually prefer the style of taller riders. They're weight placement and reactions are exaggerated and you can really see what they are doing. I also believe good posture on the bike makes a huge difference. 1 pastrana 2 milsaps 3 hill 4 anderson 5 paulin 6 durham 1 Carmichael 2 martin 3 barcia

Been a big Hill fan since he rode broome-tioga after loretta's and hit the podium with a 2nd place finish in the 2nd moto. I hope he gets a ride this summer, would be sweet to see him back on a Yamaha...

PFO186 Added a reply to Is there a "go fast" gene?

i remember andrew short mentioning what allows certain people to be fast, and it made sense to me. He said it's the ability for a persons brain to process whats going on better. to be able to take in whats coming at you, adjust and react to it. if we tried to go stew's speed, we'd cartwheel and not even...

150 2 stroke stock entry class to make it cheap to get into, then an open class so the factories can keep developing new technologies. Done. Get these expensive 250f's outa here.

i like fro, ralph and RC but i think we give Fro and RC lots of respect because we are all so familiar with what they have achieved. Looking purely at how good they are at announcing, i think they are pretty bad. If your new to the sport or watching it for the first time, the announcing would come...

Wish he was trying to qualify on a two stroke, he was going to a couple years ago with motoconcepts but I think he got injured in a practice crash unfortunately. He should give it another try.

It's kinda sad, but I actually preferred Jim holly and that other guy (forgot name??) announcing on that new live streaming practice... Which was pretty sweet by the way. The guy with holly was really good and knew a lot about the sport.
