The GP commentators are really good at taking one of the most exciting events of the year and turning into a snooze fest. Blah blah blah blah

Luongo, get on the phone to the guys who (used to?) commentate on the Canadian nationals. They actually sound excited.

Weege and Langston are 100x better than Malin & Wheeler. Hell even Bestwick is better ha ha ha

I actually think the entire show is better than the U.S. Monster commercial.

If it weren't for them, this hectic battle between Cairoli and Villo would already have gotten me snorin'...

Langston is useless, makes errors everywhere. He is very new to commentating so I'll give him that and needs time, although I'd rather Emig back on the mic asap in the ama, but malin and wheeler are great, factual, and knowledgable.

Mxgp doesn't need superlatives and repetitive feel good phrases to excite the race, that's the riders job.

Wedge is, well he is weege, great with emig on SX but GP? Errr no thanks

And I loved the Canadian fellas for their excitement and comedy but they are not for a World Series.

Surprised you US guys seem to like them. Fair enough. I guess I've had to listen to them to what feels like 10 seasons now.

I think there are other aspects of the tv package that probably don't help.

Maybe it's just me but I'm so much more excited to watch an AMA national on TV

They are so painful, the speculation is ridiculous how about if they would present some facts instead. Also one really loud guy and one meek guy you can hardly hear I wanted to reach in my computer and pull the loud guys tongue out!

I have to disagree, the energy level was low but I found them extremely informative and knowledgeable about the sport which our commentators seem to be lacking here in the states. Pair one of them up with Langston and that's a good combo.

As long as it's the guy that actually spoke at an audible level I'm okay with it . . .

Both Paul and Adam do a very good job, it's extremely difficult to commentate well, they have a lot of inside knowledge, Paul has raced for some current team owners, against some current team managers and is a former GP and DES nations winner, he knows GP mx inside out.

I dont need a WWE style commentary on an MX race, i need to be treated like i have a bit of intelligence and actually know a bit about the job..

Paul is better than adam. But they are not neutral at all. Even a deaf could hear that they cheer for the european riders and how much they want to pick on AMA and RV´s performance.

Anyone complaining about them must not watch Formula 1, MotoGP, or any European sports broadcast. I actually like the more low key announcers. They're motorcycles, I've been riding them for 46 years I don't need talking every millisecond to tell me what's going on. They do try awful hard to convince the viewer that MXGP is the hardest title to win though, I guess if you said motocross title they might have something but I'm quite sure your rookie has already won the hardest most important title, four times I believe.

They do sound a little bias but they are Europeans representing the top tier European series? They don't preach about this being the "fastest racers in world" like Emig, they offer respect to the AMA series as tough titles to win and respect RV for attempting the GP series?

I don´t understand how they sounded biased. A few years ago, Malin was very biased, but tonight I thought he did very well in explaining the differences. And not once did I hear him throw RV under the bus. In fact he said that we should expect RV to win as soon as he gets to grip with the new environment he´s in right now. But I guess people hear what they want to hear. Personally I feel Emig is the worst at bias. Malin was very neutral today I think when you consider how the race went.

Not sure their names but the "play by play" guy is excellent. The color commentator is extremely boring though. Kinda of negative and just mumbles.

Malin is ok, he just needs to lose the propaganda stuff. At the start of Moto 2 he talked about RV getting away ok that time and feathering the clutch... Made me laugh but is it necessary to question RV's ability to get off the start.

They are on the pulse of the GP circus, informative and do the job as "commentators" extremely well. Paul is very pro British but then again he is British and of course he knows the British riders from when they were kiddies and idolized his accomplishments, get use to it, he's Paul.
