That was one hell of a victory lap for sure.....definitely one to remember! I'm bummed for Josh on the RCH thing.....but you never know , when one door closes another could open....and put him in an even better position. I hope so anyways.

Local race for Hill. Probably wouldn't have done the same thing or gotten the same reaction at any other venue........

And he was the first guy to do it as well ( Hill ). He was just showing some love for all the locals that watch him grow up around here. I thought it was pretty dang sweet myself.

I though his celebration was awesome, I'm a big fan of his so I'm probably a little biased. I just want to see him be able to keep racing, bummed for the guy.

I think he would be eligible . But he didn't seem to want to ride them even back when he was in that class
..he looks better on the Suzuki than he did on the Yamaha imo

I wonder were he'll end up or if he'll get any offers

You can't ride 250's if you were top 20 in 450 points in the last 2 years or something, unless you designated a coast for 250s and the 450 riding was part time.

I thought I heard someone on TV last night say something along the lines that him not riding outdoors for RCH was mutual between them because they wanted him to heal up 100% and be back ready and have a chance at supercross again with them.

I would agree if it weren't for the fact that:

1. This is his hometown race, he likely has a lot of folks in the stands screaming for him.
2. There is a chance this may be his last heat win and hurrah on a bike of this caliber ~ get it while the getting is good.

Anybody who celebrates a heat win like it is a main is a goon and not too common. I think given the circumstances though it wasn't all that bad right?

Are you sure? I never am haha. Fuck those rules seem up for debate every year.

I just looked, it is rule 5.2(g). It is actually if you are top 20 in the last 3 years (2011, 2012, or 2013 for this year)

5.2(h) is the exception for 250 riders riding the other coast for 450 experience.

Cool, cheers bud.

So wait a minute. Were the rules different for when Hanny dropped down, that didn't seem that long ago!

I have no idea what Hilly's results have been like, I assume he can't tho if those rule are in effect. It's top 20 for one of those last 3 years right, not consecutive?

I think Hill has done a nice job of rebuilding himself in supercross this year after having so many injuries and adversity to deal with.

To complete the rebuilding process he needs to race the outdoor series and show something there in my opinion and maybe he will get a decent ride next year.

He moved up from 250's very fast and it looked like a good move until the backflip deal. If he could pull a Grant Langston and grab a PC bike in the 250 class would be interesting but he probably isn't eligible or wouldn't want to. Maybe he will find a decent 450 ride for SX anyways.

That was more entertaining to watch than the quad almost. It's crazy what these guys can do when they back it down the slightest bit. If I tried to wheely through the whoops it would not end so well. Same with the quad.

Same rule since 2007. Hanny just hadn't been top 20 in any of the previous 3 years when he dropped down (he just won x games)
