Offroad guy Added a reply to How does ISDE scoring work?
9/9/2015 7:18pm Riders don't usually have an issue staying on-time in the transport sections. The race comes down to the special tests. You are ranked by the number of seconds behind the class leader. A good rider will perform most of his maintenance on his/her bike during the day. You usually get to a check 3-10 minutes early. This just leaves tires...

12/7/2014 12:23am I loved riding the China hat race back in the day. There was so much good riding there.

Offroad guy Added a reply to Tony's latest meltdown
6/22/2014 9:11am You nailed it Mike will never win a championship in the US. Geneva apparently is from the school that all press is good press so Tony will stay and be the mouth piece for the team.
Offroad guy Added a reply to So.. Factory Team.
6/22/2014 8:44am Why would you replace the 4 time defending Supercross champion?
Offroad guy Added a reply to Tony's latest meltdown
6/21/2014 10:38pm I no longer will go poor Mike. He is an adult and a professional athlete. If he ever separates himself from that circus of a family he may earn back some fans. It's unfortunate that he has thrown away all his natural ability and hard work staying with his family.
Offroad guy Added a reply to Energy drinks in moto - On their way out?
6/13/2014 11:54am Alcohol sponsorship is tricky, because your teem needs to be 21 and over. With the age of some of the riders it's not doable.
Offroad guy Added a reply to Whats the best riding tip(s) or technique(s) that helped you become a better rider?
5/21/2014 10:06pm 1. Squeeze the bike with your legs. Let them do most of the work. 2. A downhill is just a straightaway at an angle. 3. Momentum is your friend. 4. Learn to actually use your front brake. 5. Races are won in the corners.

1/1/2014 6:20pm I have never been a big fan of av gas. Av gas is designed to run in a motor that runs at lower rpm's and high altitude. I know people who swear by it since its used in planes you can buy it anywhere in the country and get consistent quality.
Offroad guy Added a reply to Making the drive down to Oakland....any advice?
12/31/2013 7:00pm This will be my 2nd trip to Oakland SX. Went there 2 years ago and had no issues. I go to the Bay area for work about 15 times a year. I stay in Union City and have never had any issues. Last time I parked in the lot which was like 25 bucks. Go have fun and be smart...
Offroad guy Added a reply to US World Trophy Team takes ISDE Silver
10/5/2013 10:39am Titan1 your correct about the club team. At some of the ISDE's there are club guys that beat most of the Trophy guys. They get left off their Trophy teams because of politics. I think a club rider won the event overall one year in the mid 80's.
Offroad guy Added a reply to Tyla Rattray and his Husky deal
8/30/2013 4:31pm When Husqvarna was purchased by Cagiva the factory workers were told they would not be moving to Italy. When Cagiva did move them a lot of the tooling was destroyed and thrown in the lake by disgruntled factory workers. The new 4-stroke motor Husky was working on disappeared and ended up as the new Husaberg motor. I understand the auto...
