1986 XR80 I restored in high school. Used to be Mike Brown's pit bike. A friend helped him at Kenworthy's one year and Mike sold him the bike.

This is the best I can do. 1974 YZ80. I found this picture on the web as I don't have any of the one I had. It was gutless, but I learned a lot of hard lessons on that bike. For example, chains stretched across a dirt road hurt when you impact them, or putting the carb slide in backwards results in getting ripped down the driveway and out into the street with knees dragging on the pavement - at full throttle.

Sorry, mine had four wheels so to get the badass levels back up I rolled helmetless with the youth mullet flow in the wind... 25ish years ago..

Webco framed home built, bought everything for 172.00 used grass cutting money.

My XR 75 man, before i sold it we put a Bassani up pipe on it, a cam and air forks. This is proof I invented the scrub in 1975.

Mine was a new blue '71 SL70. It was all used up after may brother and I were done with it, and probably ended up in the bottom of a landfill.

Nice 69. Can't see, does it have the battery? My dad's first bike was a yellow 69. I bought a 70 for us to chop up and make into a 69 for fathers day.

First Indian Mini in the US. Came with a sidecar. Pic from NMA at Saddleback in 74 I believe. Bike is 71 or 72 I believe. Some asshole stole it from storage in the 80's.

I don't have any pictures handy, but that's the exact bike I started on, same colors and everything. Even had a similar helmet, haha. I remember riding that thing nonstop in circles around my parent's house getting blisters on my thumbs like crazy. I'm guessing we may be around the same age. Mid to late 20's?

Cam, my 2nd bike exactly, but it was gold. Loved that bike and I beat the living shit out of it! almost indestructible though. Went on to the TM 100 after this one and it was the start of a lifelong addiction that has cost me an untold amount of money and memories that are worth every penny. And it continues....

Actually, I lied. I completely forgot that my first actual bike that I ever got to ride on was a 1986 Honda z50 Christmas edition that my dad bought. Unfortunately, he sold it to some guys we used to race with and it ended up being a pit bike beat to shit. He still says if he could go back in time and save that bike he would. I've been secretly trying to locate one that's in good shape and not an arm and a leg in price to surprise him with for his birthday. I'm not having any luck though. This isn't the exact bike but it looked just like this.

I got two bikes at the same time so I could race the Golden State Nationals in two classes:

PW50 that we took to Damon Huffman's house around 1990 and had his dad tune it:

And a 1990 KX60 also tuned by the Huffman's:
