Apparently all the Kawasaki dealer reps were at kawi hq last week and the word my dealer got is 300 and a 200 electric start fi 2 stroke. Sounds like they were trying to keep the 200 under wraps as a surprise. They didn’t get word on if it’s a off road only model or Mx as well. Time will tell. No matter what it’s a win for us.

Worst I've ever seen was at Daytona SX one year. This post prompted me to look it up. RC turned the fastest lap in practice at a 55.3. This guys fastest lap was a 1:46.8. 51 seconds off the pace! I'm not looking to blow him out, so I won't mention his name, but in doing some more looking into it, 2 years prior to the Daytona race that I saw him at he raced a Loretta's Area Qualifer in the 45+ class and went 7-6. He followed that up with a 26-21-DNF at the Regional. Two years later: Daytona...

To that end, and I’ve only seen this happen on one occasion (a rider pulled from the track)…the AMA needs to have someone on the ground at the race(s) who’s sole job is watching the practice/qualifying and literally pulling riders that are too slow and incapable (and are therefore a DANGER to themselves and others). I believe this would fall under the purview of someone like Jeremy “J-Bone” Albrecht & that makes perfect sense to me. To the OP’s point…which isn’t written in the nicest or most diplomatic way…but, his point is valid: when someone is several seconds OFF THE...

Honestly impressive research here! I still don’t think it’s safe haha. I promise if you haven’t seen it in real life you really don’t know.

Single use water bottle with a hole drilled in the cap, cheap clear hose from hardware store, some tape. Are you running out of water or ? I’ve always thought a second camelback and swapping it at the pit would be easiest but I rarely drink my whole 1.5L uswe

Yep and the main key to proper h ydration is taking small sips. Small enough so that your body absorbs most of the water before it gets to your stomach. Taking gulps typically wont hydrate you nearly as good as taking small sips does.

Just regular water or Gatorade bottles with a straw. Drill a hole in top cap. Tape it so it doesn’t move away from the Bottom. Pit crew recoups after you went thru pit. it’s not science rockets

Proper hydration starts a week or so before the anticipated event and not at the starting line. I've ridden a lot of ISDE Q's when I was younger (never had the $$$ to go) but had a lot of fun riding them. I would start hydrating well in advance and carried minimal water on my back. I would take a bigger drink at a check point since you can arrive early and wait for your minute.

I already run an USWE pack but I struggle staying hydrated enough during long races. I see these GNCC guys using some sort of water bottle configuration that they hold in their teeth while they ride out of the pits. It's like a normal water bottle with a straw sticking out of the top. I assume they are getting some...

It’s a dual sport bike designed for light trail/dirt roads. It’s 300 pounds. No one is using that as woods weapon/single track/gncc type bike. No where near conparable to a yz250x, or any of ktm’s Offroad models. 2 stroke or 4.
