Arenacross is just different enough to be its own thing. Kids also weren't too stoked to come off the puppy farm / training facilities just to get sent over the boards in an Iowa barn by a plumber on a 4-year old Suzuki. Hence we have 'the futures'.

I recall Ryan Surratt saying "the only thing I learned from ArenaCross is that you can take someone out, and nobody cares"

I definitely agree that those angles can help. MXGP may do a slightly better job of this. The local kids videos you speak of are really cool (buttery, Tom, etc is I assume who you are referring too) but imagine trying to show a race in this style, it would be super choppy cutting every couple seconds from one camera to another. It definitely could be incorporated more though. I do like the wider angles they seem to take more often in moto so you can see more then one rider. Seems like in SX they really zoom in more...

Yes this was what I’m getting at. When some local kids can produce videos with go pros and I phones that bring out the raw speed I would think a paid professional production crew could find a way to capture this also, if only in a few areas of the track it would still be an improvement. And as mentioned in the stadiums this should be even easier to accomplish

They do a pretty good job, considering the challenges. But the comment I was directly addressing was about getting camera angles that best convey the sense of speed and challenge that outdoor racers face. In my experience, that would mean camera placement closer to track level, rather than the elevated positions currently in use. High POV means more of the...

I saw a comment on Instagram that the entire moto community is against Deegz. I said he's the most popular rider in the field. Am I off base? Yes he's got a healthy group of hATeRz. But I'd say his his fanbase far outnumbers them. Biggest Instagram following and biggest YT subscribers.

Wish they could fix their camera angles to get viewers a real feel for how gnarly it is and the speeds they run. MX is where it’s at but we still need SX to get our fix during the winter months

Insurance companies throw a wide net to cover their losses. It isn't always the injured people that sue. I would say that if that idiot was ordered off the mini track but continued to go out then that is on Elsinore for not taking stronger action against him. This sucks from all points.

So sad about the loss of life. RIP moto sister. Bummer to lose a track but something is going to give when we have these kind of irresponsible actions in this life. This is really bothering me. Everyone loses.

They’re not “fucking over privateers”, they offer a platform to make money riding a dirt bike and being a back marker for anyone who wants to show up and has the speed. All forms of motorsports have entry fees, this isn’t exclusive to Feld/MX Sports. Tracks aren’t lined with hay bales. Gypsy didn’t “shit on privateers”, he was discussing whether or not privateers should be a thing in a professional sport. Your opinion of RC in the booth is subjective and saying DC is the one and only person in charge of it all is just simply wrong. Honestly it’s...

Feld conducted research into what was causing the most injuries. Apparently the majority of injuries came in the last two or three whoops.

We’ll I ended up sticking with what I know and picked up a 2025 yz250f. I’ve got 2hrs ride time on it now. I’m pretty impressed, 250f’s have come along way. Could use a little more bottom end, but I also love how it screams up top. It’s a fun bike for sure. Any advice on slip ons? Man that thing is loud, would like to quiet it down and hopefully not loose any performance or bottom end.

I will never understand why people think the whoops are great. I think supercross would be better and safer without them. People seem to defend whoops by saying they separate the good racers from the rest, and in the same breath will lament how races are boring when the same few guys win all the time. I say cut out...

Same here, loved having a couple week break to build up the anticipation and then have 3 races in a week. For the rest of you, stop whinning about too many races. The promotors will never lower the number of races and the money they make. Might as well shake your fist at the clouds.
