1/13/2024 1:03pm Mx is very high impact, all other training or exercise should be low impact, like swim, cycling ect. Plenty of stretching, proper hydration and diet. Let injuries heal, this is tough as we all try to come back to soon. Stay away from pain killers. I”m 56, been racing and riding since 18 years old. When you stop everything physical , the pain gets worse. Golf is not a sport.

1/12/2024 8:50am Supercross cringey? Uh… ok. Remember how badass Brett Michaels “Get your ride on” intro song was? Totally not super hard to watch or cringey.

1/12/2024 8:50am I think Moto is actually in its peak right now, we have a lot of really fast and likable guys in both classes and just tons of coverage everywhere I’m enjoying it honestly.

1/12/2024 8:43am My partner who I have been with for over a decade barely watched MX/SX the whole time despite religiously watching a lot of sports like MotoGP and F1, ever since she found Deegan/Reeds channel she has been hooked. The sport is changing it is growing and leaning towards the elite end of Motosports, people who know how elite the riders are know, the MotoGP guys know it F1 guys know it so it's slowly getting the attention it deserves. Jase from Gypsy also brought up a good point about The Hunter brothers showing off their new toys on social media...

1/12/2024 8:42am If only someone besides Feld could promote the sport…I’m so sick of the “dare devil”, “monster truck”, image they try and give this sport…I think that is what is really preventing the sport from taking another step. With that said…I have no personal benefit from the sport growing…and I honestly preferred it small, less corporate…more of a grass roots feel. But that’s just me being selfish, many people stand to benefit from growing the sport…

1/12/2024 8:41am Agree with OP. It feels like the sport is getting bigger and more professional every year. I think the SMX series and the cooperation between SX and outdoors has accelerated it. I like where we are at and the direction of the sport. More money going to the riders, more brands entering the sport, more races in different parts of the country, less cringey moments/branding. I love the diversity of nationalities racing here. We have racers coming from all over the world to race our series. Jo, the Lawrences, Prado, Ferrandis, Vialle, Ken, Tanti (sp?), Freddie, Enzo, etc… This is...

1/12/2024 8:40am Does anybody notice that the sport feels noticeably different this year? It seems like its been building extremely fast over the last year or two to come to this point. Recently a few people I know who casually knew about mx/sx have become hard core fans all of a sudden. The media/influencer/youtube/ig space has exploded recently. Not that long ago there was the usual vitalmx, racerx, gypsey tales…etc to watch on youtube. This year theres so much content I cant even watch it all. One of my favorite new shows on youtube is called hole shots that just appeared a...

1/11/2024 10:31am This is going to hurt some people to hear, but the only people who care about privateers are probably members on Vital. The average fan/kid wants to see Jett fuckin' Lawrence show, not 3 digit homie in a van. I remember being 8-9 years old waiting in line for McGrath and Windham to get an autograph and not even being able to speak. Star struck, my heroes were right in front of me. I still have that experience burned into my head 25 years later. I can only imagine if I had the opportunity to be a part of an...

1/11/2024 10:28am its been around $1800 for vip with star racing and a few other teams for years. Lawrence brothers decide to give more value and actually promote it for an extra $200 and every one sooks. Judging by Dan Trumans post on Instagram post and comments there was about 20 people who did it and all looked like they had an amazing time with plenty of 1 on 1 interactions and heaps of goodies to take home. To me.. 20 happy people had an amazing unforgettable experience with some fans they will probably keep a connection with and recognize for years...

1/11/2024 10:28am If you find Atlanta or New Orleans sketchy, Birmingham will remind you of them. It's not a city where you want to wander very far on foot. There's a reason why "48 Hours" has a permanent production crew stationed with Birmingham PD. Safer to stay in the Trussville, Hoover, or Leeds areas.

1/11/2024 10:27am Thanks man! I was thinking a few blocks away from the stadium, the one right next to the stadium is almost $500 a night for that night at the moment, a little too rich for my blood, a few blocks away at least drops it to $275. It sounds like you are suggesting we may not want to be walking around from the stadium though is kind of what it sounds like, guessing things may get a little sketchy at night there?

1/11/2024 10:27am The hotel right next to the stadium where the SEC offices are is nice and there's a few restaurants right there but you're not going to be walking to much else from there or be wanting to walk to stadium from much farther away than that.

1/8/2024 11:08am Dude passed and beat Jett in the heat. Was within a few seconds of Jett 3/4 of the way through the main while battling and eating roost. He looked good, and you know he would have been a dog the last couple laps. That jump was odd, thrasher and one other had identical crashes on it. Didn't look like he was over riding at all. Just a slight mistake on the smallest jump on the track.
