That was a great interview. My opinion of the Lawrences went up a lot. Its a must listen. I like how he talked about delayed gratification and balance in life and how farming gives a man perspective. I like how he praised Greg? Moss( I think that is his first name, he's Oldmate on Vital) and Ken Roczens dad for their help. Did I hear him, when he was talking about their time losing money racing the MXGP's refer to it as "The Luongo series"? I chuckled.

Great interview, very nuanced takes on developing his boys into great riders rather than pushing them to be great riders.

Not sure why you got a downvote, that is nearly a verbatim quote from Webb. He's said he doesn't feel as comfortable pushing it at such high speeds as the other guys.

Cooper Webb can't be bothered grinding outdoors - especially when he'd most likely not even break into the top five most of the time. Jett, Sexton, Eli, Anderson, Ferrandis, and AP all have him covered. Rather than 30 plus two, blistering heat, and speed, he's going for 30 plus burgers, gallon drums filled with fries, and a soft couch in front of a huge TV.

The guy is visibly pissed when he loses a race, has had more intensity and one lap speed than ever. Is grinding to find that little bit more top end speed. I wouldn’t say he is “bored”. He’s frustrated when he can’t beat Jett, and he’s trying with a shit hand. Remove 1 guy and he’s your champ, and has been the second best guy all season. Hardly the attitude of a guy milking it in.

He likely won’t race outdoors again except maybe select races for SMX positioning. He has how many career podiums? 3? Bizarre considering how good he was on the 250 his last year. Ran down Herlings even. And furthermore, had some great MXoN rides bumping up to the 450. He is great at SX obviously. Just doesn’t seem to have it on the 450 outdoors for some reason.

Yeah, the broadcast was great; while Malin does a great job having two in the booth for different perspectives adds to the racing. It's not a detraction like the supercross commentary from RC.

JT is great at this. We need to keep him on our broadcast team because he offers great insight and is well-spoken. I hope AC's recent availability doesn't jeopardize JT's place om the team. We all know who really needs to go.

I meant Schock. Schock is currently SX only. ClubMX would be smart to extend it outdoors, but that's more money they'll have to find. Let him ride the Kawi for the summer and lock him up for next year.

RC is sweating it because AC is coming for his job

What i got from that was 1. They read Vital 2. They have very thin skin, saying things to your fan base like “you can’t hold a drink and eat a cheeto,” “you don’t know what’s happening in the background” or in other words it’s too complicated for you to understand. What I always find fascinating is the inability to understand that just because we love riding dirt bikes and would have given anything to achieve what RC and RV did in the industry we aren’t just dumb dirt bike riders. Those keyboard warriors they are lamenting could be, doctors...

RC is terrible in the booth period. I don't know him personally, I don't have a grudge, he's bad at the job.

The older I get the less I post...because I'm coming to realize that my opinion just doesn't matter to anyone but me, so I keep it to myself more and more...I avoid comment sections on news articles, and I'm honestly starting to come here less and less...the fact that the internet gave EVERYONE a soap box and a microphone is causing so much division...everyone thinks their opinion matters to everyone else, and so they type away with an over inflated sense of ego leveraging the lack of consequence for what they say...when the only way to communicate was face to...

To have an opinion, you apparently must have at least 4 SX Championships like both of them do. I wonder what fans would think if a random commentator, not an all time great like RC, said multiple times last summer that the guy who went undefeated should have pulled over and let his opponent by?

These guys need far thicker skin than they seem to have. They come off as supremely fragile.
