I highly recommend WATCHING the DV vs Rutledge Wood episode. David's very French mannerisms when Wood would not stop talking were great.

Yeah... Pancar and Gifting being proofs that you can have career year and be semi-consistent podium thread but that does not guarantee you salary-paying factory seat... yeah MXGP field is strong, fair & healthy.

Dang, I hope not.... No offense to the Brazil series, but to go from 3rd in MXGP to racing in Brazil would be pretty wild (I know Herlings and Gasjer were gone, but still)

Yeah. If I were him I'd take it easy for SX. Make the night show and if I make the main that's a bonus. 17 rounds is a lot.

Jett Lawrence hopefully won't become a second Herlings, the fastest MX rider, but one who's injured too often. I believe Lawrence now has the same injury as Herlings in early January 2019 after his dominant peak year in 2018.

Jett’s awesome but I always thought it would be a tall order to beat the records of RC and MC. Now you see why. Those guys ran their whole careers with virtually no injuries. Avoiding injury will prove more difficult for Jett than winning championships. Hope he gets well soon!

You have Japanese options too! (Don't ask where they are made). Point being, we already have " bikes that are air cooled, have limited travel and tech and would be considerably more affordable (think something around mid 70's to early 80's bikes at around a 3 to 5 thousand price range"

Up until recently I raced with a vintage group here in Arizona. I think the club was averaging about 75 to 100 entries an event and everyone was having a great time. Vintage racing really requires an old school track and the bikes are getting pretty used up so the sport really (at least here in AZ) is kinda up against a wall and the program/club has all but gone away. While the racing was fun and seeing bikes from my youth was a hoot, my question though isn't really specifically about vintage MX but more about bikes that are...

Absolutely sucks for Jett. He’s the favorite to win and he knows it. SX is not MX and while I expect/expected him to score more points than anyone else, he wasn’t going to win all the mains, like he does outdoor overalls… The SX title is now up for grabs and I wouldn’t be surprised to see multiple guys lead the points this year. Eli, Chase, Roczen and Webb will all be really close. Hunter too if he gets a little more consistent, which wouldn’t be a surprise. Those Jett wins, now spread out to the field, Stewart should get...

I was a little suspicious, but if I had any real info on it being true, I would've had a video ready just in case. Instead, I cut my last-minute Christmas shopping short to run home and record the injury video for YouTube right after the news broke from Jett's own IG.

One thing to note, it is the internet era where minutes feel like weeks. People can harp on “why isn’t the media telling us” but we got an official announcement within 24 hours. What happened, happened. The news break coming out now vs 12 hours ago really makes no difference. I feel like we all can get a little spoiled or entitled to information the moment it happens.

A broken talus is the worst bone you can break in your ankle. Very poor blood supply to that bone and it’s crucial for proper ankle mobility. There is no way he will be back in 12 weeks.
