12/25/2025 10:21am Sad state of the world when kids look at either of these 2 Muppets and want to emulate and idolize them.

12/25/2025 10:20am Literally one of the most embarrassing images I have seen. Not having to see stuff like this and political BS is one of the reasons I got off social media. Both of these guys are massive dorks.

12/21/2025 5:06am All of these metrics are proxies for the state of your entire system. What I consistently see is that most athletes interpret them as purely physical signals and make training decisions as if they reflect only physical readiness. They don’t. Metrics such as RHR, HRV, resting respiratory rate, and resting body temperature reflect total system load. Everyone’s pattern is different, but for many of my athletes—and very clearly for me— HRV tends to be more sensitive to mental and emotional stress, while RHR, breathing rate, and temperature skew more toward physical load. All of them often move before illness shows...

100% this. I'll second the Aussies and Euros here finding crazy that there seems to be no safety standard for many tracks operating outside AMA regulations (or maybe even just outside AMA events?): mixing classes, kids and adults, skills levels, lack of flaggers and/or medical assistance... You have to be really badly used to this to accept it as "normal" and even consider riding in such conditions. Anyway, this article screams "get involved if you want to future-proof the sport". If you're equally afraid of an external body imposing strict safety rules and of insurance hikes killing the tracks/events, you...

It has to be cultural difference thing but as a European, and a Finn in particular (we like rules and obeying them) i have always found it crazy that the very basic track safety aspects seems to be on a such a low agenda in USA. ATVs, Side by Sides, watering trucks etc a couple of meters from the track when people are practising or racing on the track. And during normal trackdays you see 50 bikes on the track and everyone from the beginner 85cc kid to Cameron McAdoo is hitting the track. That is complete madness and i...

12/5/2025 2:25pm Many of these issues regarding safety could be addressed with a riders union like @stull33 had suggested a few weeks ago. The culture among motocrossers is the biggest hindrance towards the longevity of the sport. We’re our own worst enemy and a riders union can help to shape the optics of how we see ourselves and how others see us. The culture of motocross needs to change. We need to police and organize ourselves before some asshat steps in and forces us to do it by law which will be the end of motocross as a competition and participation sport...

This is a heartbreaking story, and Ping is right that we need to get out of the "too bad for them ... next race" mentality. A lot of the issues the article focuses on (obstacles near track, mixed-age practices, insufficient/untrained/unqualified flaggers, lack of qualified medical personnel) are no-brainers and should be fixed immediately. We all love this sport, but we are going to lose it as we know it if we don't respectfully begin having conversations with race promoters, track owners, sanctioning bodies, etc. about cleaning up some of this stuff. This will not be a popular view, but I...

According to the article, roughly 6 minors perish riding dirt bikes each year. Last time I checked, roughly 14 children get ran over and killed by their own school bus each year too. Clearly a child riding a school bus occurs more frequently, so the probability is worse on a bike. Still, if you're worried about saving the most lives, where do you focus your efforts? I've seen this tragedy first hand multiple times. Never was it negligence, it's just been highly improbable circumstances. A rear fender getting under the chest protector, a riders bike hitting them etc. The article...

12/3/2025 2:01pm Steve is cool. He gives back to the sport a ton. He mouths off in a cheeky way with friends on the show but he has given a platform to so many media guys, privateers and people all over in the sport. His actions speak volumes IMO. I’m a fan and love his pods and interviews. Also, follow him on Strava and he’s super strong on a bicycle.

11/7/2025 3:27am Im not a fan of that video at all. Whats with companies promoting guys riding moto bikes on roads?? It reminds me of the wheelie boys. Its a huge problem in Ireland & probably every city now. Guys riding the streets & knocking people down. It gives our sport a real bad reputation & politicians want to ban bike sales to stop the problem down the line.

11/7/2025 3:23am Can he please drop the "DNGR" boy BS? Is he ever going to grow up, or just be a boy his entire career? Its self-proclaimed, meaning it has no actual weight to the name. Just like LeBron. You can't call yourself the GOAT, others have to claim it for you. The real GOAT is Jordan. RC didn't catch phrase himself as GOAT. His racing accomplishments gave him that name. And its undisputed.
