Truth be told, nothing changes. If you take the top stars off of four strokes and put them all on two strokes, the results stay the same. Maybe the very young ones, like Jett & Deegan would be at a slight disadvantage having not spent as much time (if any) on 125 & 250 two strikes as guys like Tomac & Roczen. Malcolm would be decent- he spent a good bit of time on a two stroke 250 KX.

As I understand it.....the initial diverging shape of an expansion chamber boosts exhaust scavenging. I could see some benefit to this on a 4-stroke too. Less reliance on the momentum of the piston to push the exhaust out. Improved efficiency? The converging section produces positive pressure waves to seal the cylinder. Doesn't seem as critical on a 4-stroke since there're valves that do the job. But an added benefit of these positive pressure waves being sent back toward the engine is a decrease in noise at the exhaust. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Yes, you just get the flange for a 2022 KTM 350SX-F, but it's not necessary. Ideally, you'd have one with the brembo stuff... Fan access is part of the sport and chase seems to understand that but I totally get the frustration from his standpoint. Other professional sports guys are staying in hotel rooms even for home games and totally isolated for day before they compete. Maybe some pit access on Friday? I'd totally go and just avoid the pits altogether on race day. Not sure if the riders would like that better or not? I also wonder how much fan behavior makes it worse.
