In supercross it's not as a big of deal for the riders as compared to MX. The 250 riders don't have to make the travel because it goes from east/west/east. Obviously all of the 450 teams and riders have to make the trips, but if you really think about it, it's probably only putting a major burden on the 10-15...

Removing oil won't fix the stiff feeling in chop or breaking bumps. The forks are probably only using less than 1/2 their stroke over these obstacles. Yamahas are always a pain because of this. But yes, like mentioned you have to "assemble" the whole transmission on the bench and then slide it in. Everything has to come in and out together. I have found that working on the left side is easier on the yamahas.

Can you tell us how many clicks in or out you are on the comp and rebound settings? What's your shock sag set at?

For the price difference, I would go with the ISF treatment. IMO - Cryo treatment has little benefits on an MX bike. If you really want that baby to spin, install ceramic bearings throughout the motor! Expensive, but one of the best mods you can do to reduce friction inside the motor.

If there's much vegetation on the ground, a drag isn't going to do much good. Clearing or cleaning of free of debris is possible with the drag, but it's not going to be perfect. If you are absolutely serious about trying to save some money, try to find a used 2015 for $4500-$5500. There's a couple on Ebay right now and it's going to save you a bunch of money in the long run.

Why don't you just measure the parts and compare between the 09 & 11? I think you might be in a situation where if you find the component that is causing the interference, you could take it yo a machine shop and have it clearanced to the same spec as the 09.

Try freezing the crank for 24 hours before you install it. It also helps to apply some heat to the inner race of the bearings. If all is right, they cases really should just slide together like PawPaw mentioned. All you would need to do after that is center the crank.

There's really nothing special about that crank that your going to notice performance wise. Should have have left that OEM crank in like most advised in your post asking about buying it.
