the "D" shape of the adjuster rod is the female part that engages the male "D" shape of the needle piece which is threaded and moves in and out of a seat inside the "rod end" of the cartridge rod that holds the rebound piston as it is rotated. The other end of the adjuster rod engages the "D" shaped...

Hi M. Yesterday I was in the dr office waiting for hours as usual, and I went on Vital on my phone out of boredom. I saw this post, and didn't really read it all or understand it completely, but then I saw the post by the guy that just said "eff Donny" and it pissed me off. So being...

I don't talk shit about "keyboard warriors"....this fins227 guy came at my brother, and I went at him. I don't know why this guy is so emotionally invested in some deal between Donny, Anton and Matthes, but if he is enough to say "eff don", then I'll go at him cuz I won't have it.

All you jealous cunts living in Timbuktu with no life cutting down Don are hilarious. Go watch his editors vlogs... while you guys are sitting online taking a shit over nothing, he’s riding ebikes in the mountains, visiting his friends shops, and working at the local tracks spreading the love of Moto. Fuck you guys. Dummies.

Because for decades Yamaha race management only wanted to do it their way. They thought they were smarter than everyone else. Star only cares about winning and will do whatever gives their riders the best chance of winning, no matter whose part or product they have to use.

Enzo California will send out suspension shipping boxes if a credit card is given and address. They won't charge anything if the suspension does show up at Enzo..

I will always use Enzo, even if I end up with a bike with non-KYB stuff. Been using them since 2005, and it has always been perfect, at least for me. I think they run things a bit more on the aggressive side, but make up for the stiffness with great valving.

Also valid points on your end. I think there are a few variables. If you’re a vet guy looking to get the right spring rate, better hold up and bottom resistance with a good balance, a decent local guy might do the trick just fine. There’s a huge value to the convenience of having them there to help tune with clickers. IMO where it changes is if you’re a faster guy who truly needs the bike to perform its best. There’s something to be said about working with that many Pro’s over the years (like an Enzo or PC does)...

While all valid points, I would argue strongly for the convenience and accessibility of having someone local/fairly local do it. There is a dang good chance you end up at the same track as Dan/EVO at some point to ask questions, turn some clickers etc. etc. I'm sure ENZO has it dialed no doubt, but if something needs changed etc. it's back in a box and back to Cali = 2 weeks of your bike being taken apart. If you go with someone local you can just go ride the same track as them that weekend and get taken care...

Enzo HQ in Santa Ana, CA is the only choice IMO. They have so much experience working with the pro teams and privateers with KYB Yami settings. As stated, the KYB A-kit is essentially coated stock stuff with a couple different internals. They are so close that lots of teams and riders will have the A-kit on their race bikes for the trick look, and revalved stock stuff on their practice bikes. It would be unheard of for someone to have A-kit Showa on their race bike and stock Showa on their practice, they’re too different. Same with stock WP...

Enzo for the Yamaha stuff. You can get a killer setup for under a grand. The wait time to ship from NC and back is the only downfall.

I was ready to try the lucky on my husky, but the KYB was the selling point for the yz250f. I’m leaning toward Enzo but I want to inquire with one of my local builders on a comparable build. These responses are helping me understand what a “B-kit” really means lol

Definitely send it to Enzo. Really all it needs is the revalve. If you want to keep throwing money at it you could get different pistons and what ever other internas they do. You could get the fork legs coated. If your going to spend that much money, make sure you are getting the suspension serviced every 25 hours.
