9/11/2026 8:01am I would love to see the photo of the hardware with a penny in the photo for perspective. at a glance it's hard to imagine all that in his ankle unless he destroyed the Talus also. Keep in mind that there is only one blood vessel in there and when it goes bad necrosis will kill all the cartilage. Tough injury and even a younger guy like Jett would take a while to heal fully

9/11/2026 5:30am he's the next JB51. He'll win a random race here and there, but will mostly be remembered for some sort of jackassery he does on the track.

9/10/2026 11:00pm My hearing sucks… I wear hearing aids in both ears. Should have worn ear plugs while riding when I was younger. I believe the gear market should introduce and sell ear protection, not sure why they don’t.

9/10/2026 5:57pm Knowing how pain killers scramble your brains for a period of time, I wonder if these top guys are using them at the bare minimum or even opt for some type of nerve block so that the recovery is faster?

9/10/2026 10:11am I had a similar experience. My left talus was fractured in a car accident and was fixed with hardware. I ended up needing surgery again to remove the hardware and clean out scar tissue not too long after the 1st surgery. That was 20 years ago now. I still deal with some dull pain and lack of range of motion but still able to ride. You got this, Jett!

9/9/2026 10:45pm Getting the hardware removed from my arm made a huge difference and was worth every penny. I can't even imagine racing with that many foreign parts in my ankle.

9/9/2026 10:45pm He had all of that frikkin hardware in there and got back to riding after like 3 months and still smoked everyone but Hunter? Wtf. And I thought coming back from the ACL last year was crazy.. Dude is an alien. Hopefully he stays healthy for a couple years now, he missed so much in a just a couple years.

9/9/2026 12:47am Sure. It wants to load the front hard on decel or downhills that are rough. It blows through and never seems to be able to recover. Im told rep has a pretty good setup for the stock showa stuff. I was running the factory connection linkage with reworked showa from my local guy but still wasnt all that happy. Recently swapped to an ohlins shock and fork inserts that were done by adreani USA as well as back on stock linkage and its world's better. Every company is springing the front at least 1 rate heavier than you normally would...
