What exactly can be proven that they did? So far all we know is the promoters didn’t have a contract with Deegan or ando to show up. From what I understand either of them can show up and race if they want to on there own dime. From the looks of it the deegans then Sensationalized the issue cooksey style saying they were blacklisted 🙄 and got all the little Deegan rats to come out of hiding. There’s no reason for the Lawrence’s to respond there is nothing to say, any sort of response would just validate the whining from...

The Lawrence’s shouldn’t respond to this childish bullshit, so now we have confirmed degan and Anderson never had any intention of racing, we have confirmed this thread is all a waste of time. Just an attention grab from the deegans, which has been there marketing plan since day 1.

Here’s an out of this world thought. Maybe the Lawrence’s haven’t said anything because there’s nothing to say? Or if this is all true they don’t feel the need to feed social media? Best I can tell this kind of drama benefits the ones who live their lives on social media.

So let’s get the timeline straight… Banned > can go if they apologize > can go but no start money > 6 figure deal in place but it was later rescinded > they were never invited Clowns.

I spoke to Adam Bailey and Eric Peronnard, they claim there was never an agreement in place for Deegan to race the event. Eric’s exact response was “I never had Deegan on the roster” I’m not going to read through the whole thread, but Anderson admitted already he was never planning on going (Kawasaki won’t allow it) but he commented for fun / stroke the flames.

I still wanna hear about the Ward racing and mrtle drama from couple pages ago

Jesus Christ the emotions and lack of critical thinking in here is crazy. Deegan can race if he wants to he’s just not getting paid to show up. What’s the big deal? this is all a bunch of hoopla created by the deegans and you guys are eating it up. I thought he needed time to recover from his surgery? Just to be ready for A1?

Au contraire. I present to you Exhibit A. https://www.vitalmx.com/forums/moto-related/hd-and-el-hombre-black-list…

If only you all still like him when he is battling for the outdoor championship with Jett and no American rider even close….

Edit: think I'm getting this confused with Paris deal as pointed out below. Hasn't it been reported that the Lawrence brothers honored their ausx agreement from before covid even though their market value now would be much higher now? Wonder if that has something to do with it? Like they're willing to honor the previous agreement if ausx doesn't turn around and pay others far more because they could then afford to? And I still find it hilarious that Deegans were the only ones butt hurt enough to leak it on behalf of others.

I don't understand this obsession with somebody being first to report something. Who flipping cares who's first. And there's a perfectly good reason why Kocksey reports stuff first, he doesn't wait for official confirmation, or try to talk to the actual parties involved, he just runs with something he probably heard from a friend. The real moto media wil often wait, talk to the parties involved, etc. Matthes will often just do an informal tweet instead of anything official. Not Cocksey though, he runs to his youtube channel to try and break a story. That's why he'll remain a nobody...

Maybe you should start with reading the whole thread then before you write something like this.

Why would the promoter offer Deegan a substantial amount of money when the Lawrence boys alone are a big enough draw card to sell the event out? They would be making less money in doing so. You dont spend more to earn less. Hell having Webb also is overkill already , Theres not much money in Australian sports. If the Lawrence boys had any impact on Deegan getting paid. It could be a case of we cant pay you to race because all our money has gone to Jett and Hunter. No way its we cant pay you because Jett...

So after 9 pages we’ve got: Deegan never intended to race the AusX Open. Ando never intended to race the AusX Open. The AusX Open promoters never asked Deegan or Ando to attend. The Lawrence camp may, or may not, have said they didn’t want Deegan or Ando at the AusX Open. Much ado about nothing. Is it A1 time yet?

I heard Deegan isn’t allowed to ever race the 450 class until Jett and Hunter retire. They’ve even told Anderson he needs to drop down to the 250 class for the remainder of his career!

You left out the part where the next thing darkside said after that is he “asked anderson and anderson said he saw his phone was blowing up after practice and he didnt know why but decided to throw something out there to stir the pot, but he wasnt planning on going to australia anyways. He doesnt know whats going on. “

Didn't the same guy say his rider had a sprained wrist when in fact it was broken and needed surgery? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So after 7 pages here is what I am gathering: This didn’t happen but it was a good thing it did happen.
