Get some neoprene and wrap it around the hinges. Cut an "H" shapped pattern, and use the legs of the H to wrap around and tie behind the hinge. If you can't find a stock of neoprene fabric, just cut up a cheopo $3 knee or elbow support band.

My dad told me to try this. I havnt gotten around to it yet though. Let me know how it works 1. Mix Trisodium Phosphate (TSP) and an absorbent material like talc or baby powder to make a smooth paste 2. Apply this paste to the stain. Frozen on Grant charging after MA for the past 5 min. First motos deserve to be on tv too. They don't show the last 4 innings of baseball. Last half of football. Last 150 miles of nascar. Back 9 in golf... Oh yay. Video is back to atleast stuttering along.
