Metcalfe is really shining on the 450, not that he wasn't on the 250.

I hope he gets a good ride for next year and keeps these awesome results up!

I really like Metty. The dude flat out hauls ass, rides clean, and gives off the perception of a clean cut guy. No gang signs, sleeved arms, rolled rental cars, just a good clean racer who is turning in some bitchen rides.

Happy for him this year. Hard work and guts...win, lose, or draw he always gives his all.

He's gained loads of confidence this season on the big bike. Just think if he moved up last year or the year before.

ya, no shit. I cant wait for him to have a year of 450 time under his belt when the Nats start next May. He kind of reminds me of Ryno the way he charges and never gives in. At Southwick when he was pushing his bike it was damn near a flashback of Ryno after his chain broke. Not many riders have that "finish at all costs" mentality.

I've been a huge fan since he was repping the 125. The 450 though really seems to suite his style. He's the kind of rider that swings both ways...he can pound through a section or float through the same section at will. I do love when he power wheelies that 450 over the bumps.
I also don't think he's topped out. We havn't seen the fastest he can go yet.

Never really followed Metcalfe but he's got a new fan here. Think he gained the whole message board with that manual in the Racerx vid a few weeks back! haha. 450s next year is going to be a riot!
