looks like they are after Chad Reed now. When will people just quit with the stupid "endangered animals" and "noise" problems????

At least Chad has the big cash and probably the right connections to tackle any legal fight here.
Gotta love that statement. It's all that the general public needs to know.
I have a private track and also have neighbors right next door. There is no noise ordinance in my town but the dust could be an issue. When I have the AC on, I can barely hear the bikes. However, my grandmother lives down the road about 1/4 mile and my mom was there the other day when we were riding and said that she couldnt believe how clearly she could here the bikes. There were both 2 stroke 250s, and 450's riding at the time.
There are few things sweeter in life than the sound of "gopher tortoises" becoming soup stock under the angry spin of knobby tires.
These environmental wackos are just following the playbook.
It seems that Reed will be able to fend them off.
This problem wasn't as bad when there were motocross racers.
Pit Row
Here's a google map of the properties (fyi Ferry's house is 3.5 miles west or Reed's and practically shares a property line with Dade City MX, plus a few other rides/tracks in the area, so the county is obviously willing to work with motocross)
Its flat terrain and sound will travel a long way.
Its always going to be them vs us. But in either case, its good to see the county willing to work with both parties. Just follow the rules.

They apparently did not follow the rules.

Be it noise issues with MX facilities, Obamas "America's Great Outdoor Initiative", or the 10's of millions of acres of wilderness proposed by various environmental groups-which are at various stages of congressional approval-America is no longer an OHV friendly country.
And if we all sit around and do nothing, we'll lose our rights to ride.
