Big balled critics around here. Take your big mouths, shut them up and replace them with some bigger balls to help him be a better person/rider. People these days haha sheesh. The kid is a good person for sure, if he doesn't want to ride who cares? And for any one of you asswipes that says they would work there ass of if they had a tenth of his talent. Why don't you try to actually think about what a rider goes through. The stress is through the roof. Not to mention the grind of travel and people who think they are Nostradamus on the internet. haha Get a life and go ride....
If he doesn't want to ride, then why does he have a race team? I would think that all the employees on the race team care.

So is this guy on a team?

Does a rig and crew go to the track and set up just for advertising?

Is him riding a minor detail of the teams overall operation?

How does this train wreck keep moving down the track and across the country?

Could any other teams operate in such a way?

Guy B can't really give any info except for Teefus style code talk ?

The kid seriously needs some mental help and assistance. If he's been approached by people that want to help him. Which I hear has been plenty and he has refused their help, well then I guess he just doesn't want to change his life (forget MX at this point). And that is sad.

I think you are right. While we don't know the details around this latest strange situation, in total his racing performance / actions since coming back from jail have been bizarre. And, it's not like he has some obvious fall back career options.

RC handed IT his ass on a Factory Honda, compared to RC's 2 stroke Suzuki practice bike.

You don't think in his Prime RC couldnt have top 5ed on his practice bike?

A few years ago Bubba would/could have done the same.

They were in the next league.

Not really related to him being done I suppose, but whenever I see a thread about Lawrence I can't help but think of all the smack talking he did when he beat Dungey while Dungey, for the most part, just quietly took it.I wonder what Lawrence thinks when he looks at the respective positions they're in now.

Funny how L&M / San Manuel / Yamaha / JS7 Entertainment could only afford to make it to the Dilla because "someone" promised them a shot at the MXdN team but Team JLaw manages to criss cross the country with ease. JLaw must get lied to .....a lot.

Might just be burnt out of racing and the responsibilites that go with it altogether.
Hope we see him for the whole '11 SX series riding in top form again.

When I was here for the open practice last week, he had his race bike with him. I was told that he was supposed to have it back to his mechanic by Wednesday so it could be rebuilt in time for the Southwick National...no dice.

That would make sense...if he had been racing, and if he had assumed responsibility for his racing and team.
If anything, he's burnt out on mediocracy.

I kept having to check and re-check the date of these posts. Didn't we cover this and put a nail in the coffin of his "career" like 2 years ago????

"He's a good kid, from a good family, with good morals, who eats beef and drinks milk."

Whatever. I seriously can't believe this is still "news worthy" . . . even for a soap opera place like this. Wow!

It's like those flashbacks my cousin has whenever he hears the Grateful Dead. We all have to talk slowly and softly until he figures out what year it is.

Anyone here ever see Groundhog Day with Bill Murray?

Jason Lawrence posts here are kind of like that. I log on here and it's always the same fucking bullshit posts about Lawrence, who doesn't even race anymore!

Do you truly believe that RC's RM250 he was riding was a "beater practice bike"? Really?
And keep in mind, that video was shot at RC's house, on RC's track, and Ivan was coming off an injury.

But lets not keep facts in the way of saying really stupid shit and trying to believe it.

think of the depleted mess he'll make of himself between now and january. we'll never see jason again!! there's only so much free time a loser can waste before his raw talents become eroded....and the new hungry kids training every day on perfect diets with perfect programs will just lap his wasted ass long before he even hits the line at a1....if he ever makes it there.

jl will be hitting ol lady's purses like healey by a1! and to think dungey would be wearing "one" gear right now....lol

And barely used!

Couldn't resist that one but I'm ashamed to beef on the kid. I'm a fan and the races were more exciting when he was a contender. Hope he claws his way back up -- but the list of those who never made it back into the spotlight is a long one.

id like to order one large 10 page thread, please.
From being a SX champ and nearly winning Daytona last year to ending up in the clink. What a life of extremes.

Wonder what else life has in store for Lawrence.
