In my opinion for sure a great battle at the end should be showed, but on the smaller view of a split screen. The winner deserves the live TV coverage of him crossing the line, not the battle for 3rd, especially when its a rookie getting his first win in his 3rd ever start.

A lot of us are putting ourselves in the track owners shoes, but imagine if that was your kid that had 7 surgery’s and will never be the same due to the track owner not mitigating a simple hazard. Dirt bikes are dangerous and we all accept that, but it doesn’t mean a track owner can just have additional hazards waiting for us.

That's not what I'm talking about. Besides that release, we make every rider fill out a complete release form, Name, Address, print and sign etc. The minor release has 2 sides and 2 places for the parent to sign. Takes a little extra time, but to us it's worth it.

That’s sad. Durhamtown is a massive facility that has brought a countless number of people and families into the world of dirt bikes. If it closes that’s truly a region impacting hit for an activity that’s already fading away.

I went to a local track for the first time last fall and noticed a metal pole sticking out of the ground off the side of the track. I notified the owner, and he promptly went out and pulled it out of the ground. If we want to keep tracks open, we all need to work together to help improve track safety.

Remember, if you see something that could be dangerous around the track, tell the track manager. I was out at REM one race day and saw a massive chunk on concrete in between lanes of the track. I told Frank how bad that could be for someone who skated off the track half out of control. He stopped the races, got a dozer and dragged the shit out of there. That's how it should go down!

The lesson from this is not that a dirt bike rider can never assume risk of injury excusing the track owner from liability. The lesson is that track owners have a duty of care to the riders who use the facility, and lying about whether you met that duty is a bad thing to do before a jury.

CA Hydroxide isn't terrible, but quick lime (CA oxide) is pretty damn bad. I could see someone making the mistake of thinking that lime is lime and putting down quicklime by mistake or not knowing the difference.
