I’d also add, I’ve flown a ton of hours all over the country in all kinds of weather single pilot in a King Air B200 and in various CJ s. I’ve also flown a lot with a technically qualified pilot that was so far behind the plane, if we would have crashed, he would have survived, because the paramedics would already be at the scene by the time he got there. It’s a LOT easier to fly by yourself! But a well coordinated crew will always be safer, not only because of the chance of a medical emergency, but when...

As a general contractor I have a 10" corded Ridgid that I use for framing, I have a milwaukee battery unit for trim, etc. I like the light weight and quick set up of the Milwaukee. Doesn't last long though with thicker material.

Don’t electric bike just need horsepower limits that keep their power comparable to gas bikes and data logging to ensure compliance? There’s no reason to change anything else for existing bikes. WSX did it so it can be done. I don’t see a problem. Am I missing something?

I know there are a some of you guys on Vital somewhere. I have joined the cool kids club. Short version of a MUCH longer story often told- working for a basic paycheck, frustrated and unfulfilled, finally pushed to a point where a long overdue change was needed. Back to being a starving student (again), worked and studied my godamnmotherfucking ass off for a couple/few years. Somehow made the Dean's List at one point. Taking 16 units, then 20 unit semesters was heavy. Didn't think I could do that. Finished the 147 school in May. Studied for the FAA writtens...

To truly calculate the cost of a mortgage, its the interest sum - minus inflation (though I don't usually factor this in, even though is valid)- appreciation - principal reduction - tax savings (from the tax write off) to really see what the mortgage is actually costing you. Otherwise you are completely ignoring the net worth advantage of owning a home. Run those numbers and you see the cost of that mortgage reduced significantly (and its reduced more the longer you own the home). For rent and owning...again...it's not as simple as monthly rent vs mortgage interest. You have to...

Hey man, I was just there with this myself. Last winter I started feeling extra fatigued. In April I went on vacation to visit my father for my 50th and ended up in the hospital with what I thought was a cough/cold/allergy problem. Diagnosed with heart failure. My Ejection Fraction was down to 17%. They said that I was pretty...

After rain dampened the action at rounds 2 & 3, as Anaheim 2 approached the anticipation was palpable. Yet once again, the pre- and post-race chatter would overshadow the actual racing action. One needn’t even wait beyond the rider introductions for the first bit of drama to unfold. The center of attention (yet again)? “The next big thing” in Supercross is usually hailed by many, but likewise met with skepticism by others. And entering his 450 SX rookie season, Jett Lawrence had already whet the appetite of the haters with bold talk of surpassing Jeremy McGrath’s crowning achievement of 72...

I'm somewhat encouraged by the recent move toward anti-establishment candidates. We have ol' "drain the swamp" Trump, who clearly ruffles feathers among the elite, and recently Robert Kennedy dropped the Dems like a hot potato and is campaigning on his own. I hope the trend will continue and sometime in the future we'll have more nuanced choices among presidential opponents. A true 3-way battle would be nice to start. My biggest worry for this country is that things will continue down the path of "MY side is the only one which is right, and the other is the DEVIL!" This...

Both candidates have strong supporters. Nobody can argue each one of these folks running is the ideal candidate to millions of Americans. Certainly not to me, but I will not belittle my fellow Americans right to choose or their decisions. I can discuss how they are mistaken though, sure. But how we have gone from being able to disagree and discuss choices to spewing vitriol and hate in such a short span to me is disappointing.

Neither side will condemn their base (or at least their VOCAL base). The loud ones make the news...the rest of us are too busy trying to put eats on the table and keeping mamma happy. I could be completely wrong but I figure the majority of us are just living a high speed existence...not asleep at the wheel...just white knuckling our way through it.

There's not much point in them having their own bikes or living somewhere you could ride them when they're in the middle of their pro career. They travel constantly and ride more than they probably want to for their paycheck. And just because they don't do any of their own maintenance doesn't mean they couldn't. I'm friends with a couple commercial pilots who have all been flying since they were kids, none of them have their own planes anymore and they all used to. Making it to the top of anything seems glamorous from the outside but once you're there...

I truly believe that ALL our politicians are crooked and corrupt at least to some degree. I don't think it's even possible to get in the game without tossing ethics out the window. If Biden had any morals at all... he'd lead Hunter to court by the ear and let justice take it's course. Hard decision by a father but he accepted a higher obligation to the country by becoming president. Every service member accepted that obligation and duty. He is the head of our services...lead by example. I don't expect him or ANY other politician to do the right...
