I can't be the only one that thinks there is not a chance Eli runs a single race to get points to keep his number. He seems like the type that does not waffle or race a couple of races just to keep a number. His retirement (IMO) appears to be a "I have all the desire in the world to enjoy what I have coming, and zero desire to line up at any starting gate" kind of deal. If I were Eli, I would ride them both with no preconceived notions of performance. Have talks with leadership to gain a clear understanding of the team and ability to try different settings and component brands and to get first hand business insight on KTM for the next year and Ducati's plans on development for Supercross.
