Plenty of older folks who don't fair well on bikes anymore love the hell out of those things. The neighbor where we are staying right shows takes his out every chance he gets, and he's an old Harley dude, just too beat up for a 2 wheeler these days.

I'll admit it ,i did take one for a ride once . A coworker had one . I could see how people could enjoy riding one ,it wasn't my cup of tea though.

Those are basically Ski-Doos with tires instead of tracks. It's a weird feeling to ride one, but not too far removed from an ATV. Lots of people like those. I was trying to get my dad to buy one after he had a stroke years ago. He had been a streetbike guy but didn't have the balance anymore.

I'm not buying that excuse, plenty of non-hardley ableson motorycles out there if you want a smooth ride.

I have been in the motorcycle industry long enough that when I first saw a company was making 3 wheeler kits for Goldwings and Harley’s at the Indy MC industry trade show and walked away thinking those things wont ever survive ….. yet here we are.

What about this makes it a motorcycle?  If I put a snowmobile seat in my car does that qualify?

A couple years ago I was driving and passed an intersection where a lady was driving one of these with a dude on the back holding on to her and I think I laughed for an entire mile at that poor fella.

+1 to everyone else not liking them, but I think of them like e-bikes, anything that gets you outside on wheels is probably a good thing.

I grew up in Garden Grove. The guy across the street worked for Honda. (He only lived there a few years) He brought one of those home for a week before they were available to the public. There was still open land behind the house back then. I don't think I was even 10 years old at the time. Was the first one a 70 or a 90?

The first 3 wheeled Honda was the 1970 US90. They switched to the ATC name in 1974.

I hardly saw any of those in Central Washington, and have yet to see one in 10 months since moving to Oregon, but there were a shit ton of them in the Dallas area it seemed. Those and the Polaris Slingshots were all over the place.

If you want me to stop laughing at them, make them look less goofy and teach the riders a little self awareness.
Turning the music volume down wouldn't hurt either.

Dude, you are the last person on earth that should be criticizing anyone for a lack of self-awareness.

Is lack of self awareness why I don't understand sarcasm?

That thing reminds me of a scorpion and I hate effing scorpions...

I cannot think of anything more impractical than that thing.

I'd rather have a pimped out golf cart where I could carry a hot blonde with big tits....along with the groceries at the good old age of 80.
