The whole thing is just weird. He thinks he's playing mind games when really Jett is clearly in his head rent free without even trying. It seems Jett doesn't even acknowledge it or even care. Dingus is either supremely confident or supremely naive, or both. To focus your attention on the defending champion who is coming back from injury whilst seemingly not worrying about/diss proven race winners and past champions like Tomac, Sexton, Hunter, Prado etc is a bold move.

Would be funny if Jett brought Haidens boyfriend into this as a retaliatory response. Jett and Hunter have class and tact however.

I have spent my entire life trying to explain to folks i know that top tier moto is an elite sport and not monster trucks or “entertainment”. Deegan is taking us back a couple decades for his own monetary gain. Pretty American of him I suppose.

Extra lame when many more people, fans or not, consider Deegan an elite talent that will only improve. I say more “sport”, less forced “entertainment”.

^^^^this. Even if he shows up, then begins racing his way back into top form, that's good enough for this fan. He doesn't have to win every race. He still has a long, competitive, future (if he wants it) in moto.

You know I usually have a favorite, but this year all the top contenders are likable and I don't care who wins. Any of the top three or four would be deserving champions.

Vital complains that the media in this industry doesn’t report on slightly controversial or secret things because they don’t want to piss off their friends, yet when a media member does so they complain that he should have checked in with Eli first despite clearly having a source that (possibly incorrectly) gave him that information.

Love Eli, but maybe he should worry less about what reporters are hypothesizing and more about not making an absolute embarrassment of himself every main event.
