That is a sweet jig I’ll have to get one if I ever do a 250. Heat is a crazy tool. I really like the heat gun also but I used the bbq grill and it worked great. Just put the case on a pan and be careful with the heat.

Hey guys just did my first bottom end rebuild and wanted to throw a couple tips to anybody else that is thinking about doing it. 1. It is actually pretty easy, when you take it apart take lots of pics and put bolts in labeled bags. 2. I have never seen ... more »

Hi guys what is this bolt hole in the right side case 03 yz125. I took a pic when I tore it down and I don’t think anything was in it. It was a few months ago so I’m not sure. I can’t fine anything in the manual.

Happens to me. I think when I get too much of a wheelie.

Yeah I was pumped. Ppl say the bigger carb works great at sea level but at my elevation it sometimes does not because it has a mid bog because the needle is too rich and you can’t buy a leaner one.

Just wanted to update Incase anybody reads this down the road with the same problem. I went so lean with the main jet it started running way way worse throughout the whole range and still sputtered on top. Saw a guy on a YouTube review say it’s the float ... more »

I don’t think they make them. Maier makes aftermarket stuff. I think that’s your only option for plastic besides oem.

Thanks guys for all the help. Most ppl on here want you to torque every bolt exactly so I always thought it was the same for spokes but now I know that’s not really true. Thanks

Added reply in a thread Wheel building 4/15/2020 10:49 AM

Already watched that. I get how to build a wheel and do everything but keeping the wheel straight while using a torque wrench is what I don’t get. But oh well does not seem that important

If you don’t mind me asking what keep the big wheel from coming up and hitting the fender?

Added reply in a thread ISO 85/80 front end 4/12/2020 11:11 AM

Thanks for that I have the small wheel bike and would like to keep it that way. It’s hard to find I’m not sure but I think the big wheel forks may be longer. I think my buddy may reach out to you though. I would like to find a small wheel set up.

Hi I am looking for yz 80/85 front end or kx 80/85 front end. Would like forks, triples, wheel and brake. It is for a pit bike. Must be disc brake but if price is right would go conventional. This is more of a budget build so no a kit whatever stuff. ... more »

Still struggling a bit. I have the main down to a 92.5 and still not perfect with the airbox door on. I drilled holes in the top of the airbox. I order a 90 and 87.5 to try. I have not heard of anybody going that low ever. Lowest was a 97.5. So I wonder ... more »
