Hey guys

I am doing a bottom end rebuild for a buddy in a 08 ktm 250xc. I am getting it back together and I know the transmission only goes back together one way. I was having some trouble getting the transmission to spin correctly. I played with it enough and everything spins well but in 1st it is a bit hard to get the gears to spin. It takes more force it feels. Does this seem normal? Everything worked when I took it apart and I know I’m not missing any pieces. I also know there is only one way it goes back together.

Sweet thanks. I screwed with it for awhile and it all seems to work correctly. I just think the tranny is not made to work by hand really. There is only one way it can go back together.

Ended up figuring it out. I did not know that the two rear shift forks were different. I had them flipped. One has a relief cut for a gear. It was hitting on the gear.
