Hopefully Chase reads these message boards cuz "what the hell was that today at Thunder Valley?" I am a hard core SEXTON fan, but my hopes is there is a really, really legit explanation for that ride today. I was actually getting pissed off watching that race, and with a 24 point advantage on Jett!!! Finishing off the box??? I have to step away from the keyboard, don't want a be "that guy" Not an armchair QB by any means but would have to voice my gut feelings that it's in his head. Com'on bro you can do this!!

It is logical to say Jett will only get better but that may not actually happen. You never know.

Here’s the problem..Jett’s only going to get better. What’s he look like in 3 years? He may just be unbeatable. His ceiling is very high..all I heard all offseason was rookie sx 450s is a different ball game…well he’s got 5 wins and the red plate. I’d be worried what he looks like next year and so on..

I think Webb, Anderson, Roczen, and Tomac will all be around for quite awhile yet. They are all incredible champions - but because none of them had the sheer career dominance of MC/RC/RV, they are "OK" with not winning in a sense. The checks still cash, they still get to be a star, and they can still win, albeit less often. The fans have been ready to retire each of them at different points. And yet they all find ways to claw back, and sign on for one more big deal. So, I predict the next person to take a...

I swear Coop's speed is so underrated. People always talk about his "craftiness" (which yes he is crafty), but if you're slow, racecraft will only help you get a 7th instead of an 8th (see 2022). Racing smarts or not, you gotta be a damn fast rider to lead a whole SX main event wire to wire with Chase Sexton and Ken Roczen breathing down your neck the whole time.

Yeah but the champion is the 1 with the most points. Chase could’ve wrecked too. If s rider is faster than anyone & goes 1 , dnf. The other rider does 2-2 he has more points. It doesn’t go by the fastest. It’s a points system.

When you go back and look at where he was just a few short years ago with his arm injuries and watch him last night breathing down the neck of maybe the biggest prodigy the sport has ever seen it is frigging amazing to me. I was rooting for him big time to get the win!

At the moment he is at least the 3rd best guy in US. I think you could argue that he is equal to Sexton or even better. Incredible and very pleasing to witness!

If you stop to actually think about it, at different times Roczen has been the main competition for Dungey, Tomac, Webb, and now Jett, while all are at the top of their game. Only a fool would write him off.

This is on point. These riders are all multi champs in SX. To me, Webb's level has dropped some whiles Kenny's has come back up. What Ken did to come back from his arm's injury is really incredible. Not sure how many other riders could have gone through all those surgeries, rehabbed, and had the determination and sheer will to push physically back up to the top of this sport. Some have questioned his mental strength, but I've always respected his grit. Hope '24 is a great year for him
