Chase is the most physically fit. Hit body isn’t working as hard to throw that bike around because has built his core strength up so high and his foundation is stupid strong as well. Always said that AP needs more muscle mass to help his endurance
Welll....week is a long time in mx.
Relaxed a little too much during the week?
He doesn’t want it anymore

Choke?
Worst thing about this sport- you`re only as good as your last race.
Sexton is riding over his head. His 2nd Moto HANGTOWN was really impressive but you cannot ride the whole series like that without it biting you in the ass. Chase tried to ride like that again 2nd Moto today and look what happened.
Honestly, I thought his bike looked like shit last weekend and he rode through it like a boss. Again today, it just doesn't look like its working to keep the power to the ground.
How many years can we blame the bike for looking bad? He gave Honda a shit rep and then all of a sudden the Honda was great when another rider jumped on it. Now it’s the KTM that looks bad under him, see the pattern here?
obviously its still early in the title chase but if he lose the title by a certain amount pts , we gotta go back & point to this race at thunder valley right here saying this was the golden opportunity to put more pressure on ur main title rival while he was wounded & u couldn’t close the deal on it
This. It’s a dirt bike, not an F1 car. The team can change hundreds of things to make him happy. It’s also the bike he chose when he could’ve gone anywhere. At what point can we just say it’s him
Jett isn’t even worried about sexton. That’s why sexton will never beat him for a title.
Chase’s biggest rival is CrashChase-
He can blame the bike for not suiting how he wants to ride all he wants doesn't change the fact the way he want's to ride isn't possible.
IMO he lost his chance at the title today. Barring another injury from Jett.
Hopefully Chase reads these message boards cuz "what the hell was that today at Thunder Valley?" I am a hard core SEXTON fan, but my hopes is there is a really, really legit explanation for that ride today. I was actually getting pissed off watching that race, and with a 24 point advantage on Jett!!! Finishing off the box??? I have to step away from the keyboard, don't want a be "that guy" Not an armchair QB by any means but would have to voice my gut feelings that it's in his head. Com'on bro you can do this!!
u might be right but I’m thinking chase will get back on his shit at high point & do some damage cause after high point we got the 1 week break & then tracks tht Jett goona kill em at in the wick & red bud BUT it could flip the other way into hunters momentum to possibly extend the lead on chase & Jett 👀 high point is definitely hunter’s best track of the series
Quiet in here this week. I thought the admins must have locked the thread.
Is this still your opinion 1 round later? I think you may have shot your load a bit prematurely son.
Pit Row
Someone needs to tell chase we're done making bike changes, just shut up and go make the most of it. Maybe try getting off the gate and see if that makes the setup seem a little better.
After last week it was all talk about how they finally had it figured out, at press day yesterday said they didn't change anything all week, then during the broadcast they talked about changing things in practice before moto 1 and then changing it back to last week settings before moto 2. Just stop. It's insanity at this point. If it was great last week after you rode great, leave it alone and just put laps on it and stop this shit.
I would also love to know how much his dad has to do with some of this constant searching. Sometimes the line between supporter and enabler gets pretty fuzzy and if it's the same roller coaster all the time maybe it's time to listen to some different voices.
Your first sentence needs to be told to a lot of riders. Including the ones on star yamaha that aren’t haiden deegan, haiden is winning on the same bike the rest of the guys are getting 10-40 on.
Also, how did jett get back to his old setup from last year when we were told on the broadcast at hangtown he couldn’t have that same setup because some parts changed or something like that.
Chase went from a legendary ride to this? It has to be mental at this point.
He’s doing what he’s always done.
Because the teams often lease/loan their suspension parts from the suspension company.
To 24 HRC got a new shock or what ever it was so they had to contact showa asap to get their 23 stuff back.
My main point is that Sexton is NEVER happy with his bike, no matter what color that his plastic has. At some point people have to accept that he is either a shitty test rider or demand to much out of the bike and can’t work around the problem as a rider.
Motocross is never perfect, the track and conditions always change, your bike will never be perfect the whole weekend so at some point it’s up to you to adapt to.
I’m a big fan of the guy. I want him to win. The reality is Jett is in his head. Todays ride was unacceptable.
Hahahahahahahaha...he busted his nuts waaaay to soon.
Their suspension is never perfect in each and every moto these guys ride. They can get damn close to a great setting for the conditions but ultimately it is the rider that makes the difference. They need adapt and compromise throughout the moto.
I suspect Chase wasn't feeling it in Colorado yet kept chasing the leaders when he should have focused solely on maximizing his points for the day.
Let's see what Hangtowns delivers. This season is going to be great for us couch munchies.
Sexton still has a very real shot at the title. He just needs to stay off the ground.
Looking back historically, Thunder Valley has never been a round he’s excelled at. In 3 450 races he has gone 6-3-5 there and he missed last year's round.
‘22 he should’ve won the overall tht day but he crashed on the last lap I think & gave the overall up to Kenny , yesterday imo he had the speed & pace to win moto 2 but he gave it away again , yea on paper u can say he ain’t tht good at thunder valley but eye test says other wise , he just gotta calm his ass down sometimes
I think he knew Jett was hurt and this should have been the time to put more points up. He almost looked like he was trying to hard and forced his own mistakes.
