KGA Started a new thread Josh Hansen Sighting....
1/27/2012 3:22pm I usually hit the gym in the afternoons - coincidently, Hansen (and Troy Adams) are training at the same gym. And believe it or not, Hanny has been in there 4-5 days a week, for the past 6 weeks or so. Looks like their trainer (Grady) has both them working pretty hard. I think it's always interesting to see the...

KGA Started a new thread JGR Article in latest Dirt Rider Magazine
1/20/2012 4:09am The technology and resources that JGR has and it creating for their race team, is really impressive. Everyone knows they have almost bottomless resources, but to see some of the ingenuity they are putting into testing and making bike custom fit to the rider, is really something else. Example - A suspension dyno to fully replicate a lap around their...

KGA Added a reply to ATTENTION JASON LAWRENCE!
7/19/2009 12:27pm Ridge I think maybe the bigger issue here is, what about doing something for YOU? You're not a "nobody" as you mentioned - thats not the right way to reflect on yourself. So what if you're not a professional motocrosser; the odds of that are so slim there is nothing to be ashamed of in that regard. But if you...

KGA Added a reply to Nutritional supplements for riding?
6/13/2009 9:11am Long before you should even talk about supplementation, you need to have your diet in order. A thread like this, will turn into a million different answers, but the bottom line is diet. Eat right (proper foods at the right times, amounts, etc) in addition to drinking a sufficient amount of water per day (rule of thumb is 1 gallon)...
KGA Added a reply to who saw this dude ride?
6/11/2009 8:51pm My parents took myself and my moto buddy Trea all the way to the '87 des Nations at Unadilla. Doug was scheduled to wheelie the entire track at some point in the day, but as some probably remember, it was a terrible mud bath. Nonetheless he still went out and successfully wheelied the entire track, which was astounding given the...
KGA Added a reply to RV2 and TF15's replacements named
6/4/2009 9:43pm I think it is great that Dietrich is presented with this opportunity! He's shown his moto ability and now I'm hoping it gets even better....
KGA Added a reply to Fire Bailey Hire HOLLEY
5/30/2009 10:28pm I think Bailey is fantastic - I love his insight and I actually like his low-key demeanor. Listening to Langston is very entertaining in my opinion. I think the setup is ideal - keep it going. Holley is good, but I certainly enjoy it the way it is.
KGA Added a reply to R. Dietrich?
5/24/2009 3:59pm 'Addict - I was not pin-pointing YOU specifically at all - and yes I noticed you're in Europe, BUT I bet I would recognize MANY of the Euro motocrossers and participants in World Enduro for example. It just triggered my thought on how many people follow motocross only and think that the other disciplines are of lesser value. That just...
KGA Added a reply to R. Dietrich?
5/24/2009 10:33am I'm always surprised when a motocross enthusiast comes in and claims they've never heard of a well-known off-road racer. I guess what disappoints or surprises me is that people are so close-minded and think that the only form of motorcycle racing worth giving respect to, is motocross. Top off road professional racers are elite athletes as well. I personally follow...
KGA Added a reply to Seattle SX Images. Not the typical stuff...
4/23/2009 11:02pm Needs to be more of this style in the mix - shows more personality and the demand of the sport I believe.
KGA Added a reply to What is your job!!!
4/16/2016 11:22pm I have a startup business in Park City, Utah called Voyagerider (formerly Park City Recreation - in the midst of changing all that over now) It is a motorcycle rental & tour company (all street for now).
KGA Added a reply to This is why it's hard to believe press releases today.
4/1/2009 7:11pm I hate April Fools Day. What a total waste of resources.
KGA Added a reply to Bro helmet
3/22/2009 10:58pm Unbelievable. Odd thing is, their contact info is in Montana. This says "Lake Elsinore" all over it, not MT. I was going to copy / paste some of the really dumb text in here...but it's all dumb. Wow.
KGA Added a reply to Travis is a freak
3/22/2009 7:26am That is the amazing part of all this. I think I would have been more disappointed to see Travis not make the main than one of the top 5 regulars (and obviously I was disappointed). But I'm also glad he made it through the night unharmed.
KGA Added a reply to Hart and Huntington goes Pink...
3/13/2009 11:30am Thats pretty funny - and true on many levels. Kenny Watson. Thats who.
KGA Added a reply to Sorby retires!
3/13/2009 11:15am Risenberg _ I didn't even read through your rebuttal. Again - you have no merit comparing the actions of someone like Bradshaw to a proven assclown like Sorby. Most of the time I think Hammer is a pompous ass (and I mean that in the nicest way Hammer
) but here - he is 100% spot-on. Sorby would go...
KGA Added a reply to Sorby retires!
3/12/2009 5:30pm Riesenberg - if you're about to put Bradshaw and Sorby in the same sentence, you completely lost ANY merit for argument! Actually not a word in that statement makes a bit of sense. At all. Who would not agree with me on that? You're nuts - not sure what you are thinking. Hammer nailed it to a T.
KGA Added a reply to Sorby retires!
3/12/2009 12:56pm I personally do not think he brought much of anything to our sport. Flavor? Nah. I'd rather see 20 "bland" RACERS that WORK HARD and give it their all with hard work, FITNESS and dedication. All I can recall of him was a roadblock and a danger to others. Thats not the "flavor" I want to see.
KGA Added a reply to Flex Bars? Good? Bad?
3/10/2009 7:19pm kawboy - you need to look again at their application listing. They have a LOT of bends and now a 10 degree bend (in sweep) - that is very straight. You can call them and tell them what you run, and they will let you know if they have an equivalent bend. Here is their application chart: http://www.fasstco.com/products/flexx/bends.shtml (I've used...
KGA Added a reply to New Husqvarna TV Commercial!
3/9/2009 10:08pm Yeah on a marketing standpoint, unless Husky is targeting a 40-45+ age bracket, their Hero Campaign is off the mark. They are trying to show how much strength they had back then, but that is 100% irrelevant to what they stand for today. They sure look like great bikes to me and people that I know who own them, do...
