Went from a ‘13 to a ‘19 this winter, haven’t properly ridden it on a track since getting it set-up right. But it’s a rocketship and easier to ride then the pre-17s

Sorry if you guys find this non-moto, but I’m too stoked not to share. Last year I bought this Honda SLR650 from 1999 with very low mileage for a new project: Slowly but surely got some parts in: But the final result is what really makes me happy. It ended up being a flat/street tracker with some MX parts on it and it actually really feels like a dirtbike on the road. So much fun!

Like many of the Dutchies already mentioned: Amsterdam is not what it used to be. It became a tourist trap.. Fly in, be the Amsterdam tourist for a day or two but for race weekend stay in Groningen. Pretty sure some of you will like the easy going vibe of Groningen better than Amsterdam with all the tourists.

Make Amsterdam part of the trip! Rent a car. Stay local to Assen on Saturday. Soak up the atmosphere into the night! Don't waste your time driving from Bremen or Amsterdam to Assen and back both days, you're talking 8+ hours in total man, that's without getting in/out of the track. You'll half that by staying local Saturday night, head to the beer tent and talk moto! VIP is ok, but save your money, the atmosphere is better with the commoners in any case! Consider staying in Groningen Sunday night after Assen and checking it out the following day -...

The word is out. Hope he can finally make it happen. Interesting to see him move to America for winter training (I know he's been doing that for a few years now) especially since there has been a lot of discussion about the tracks not being rough enough over there for proper outdoor training. https://youtu.be/A4IpNXUVfKU

Keinz, humor me here, as a fellow MX/SX fan, but: What happened to Belgian MX? Prado beat DeSalle and Horebeek too. What happened to Italian MX? Prado beat Cairoli and Lupino too. What happened to German MX? Prado beat Roczen and Nagl too. What happened to British MX? Prado beat Searle and Anstie too. Estonia? Sweden? Switzerland? New Zealand? And what happened to Spanish MX? Prado beat his big-bike teammates too... And then Lawrence beat Prado, soooo... Jorge Prado is an amazing young athlete, and he beat almost all of the big bikes, almost as RV did in '07, Cairoli...

Correct, over here in the Netherlands at the national races you can ride the 250f and the 250 as well in the 250 class since last year. Most of the riders have switched from the 250f to the 250, it seems like especially in the sand the 250 is a lot better because of the power. On hardpack tracks its...

Had a good friend pass away a short while back, a lifetime dirt bike rider who made everyone else’s problems pale in comparison. Cancer survivor by age 20 in a time where the treatment probably caused more damage than cure. Fast forward through all the enduros, six days and desert racing, he found himself under the knife with heart issues a week after completing Baja. Eventually ended up on the transplant list and was supposed to stay within a 2 hour drive of the hospital in Houston. Of course I caught him cruising the pits at the 2007 Freestone National...
