LOL, I think it’s funny Everts Vital rep is directly tied to his relationship to Herlings. They didn’t get along so Everts must be hard to deal with.
Don’t think it’s just that at all. Look at the role that he had when he joined KTM compared to the role that he had when he left. He bought a team to get himself back into the paddock and after one season the manufacturer withdrew their support. His relationship with Herlings is just one of the many things that he got wrong in his team management phase. He once told KTM that they would never win anything with Herlings, which is clearly ridiculous. Great riders don’t always make great team owners/managers

I saw him just the other week at a German Championship race. He got 2nd, but did nothing special. Even his qualifying wasn't noticeable good. For the level he has shown in the past, it was underwhelming.

We've always got people here just wanting to denigrate Everts.

Yes, I daresay he'd be a demanding individual, but hell, he wouldn't have acheived what he did, without being so.

The next logical step for him was to be a Team Owner - he'd done the rest.

He seemed to be made use of / hung out to dry by Suzuki. Sylvain Geboers got out of it, and took Everts ( and his backers, if any) money, at just the right time. Perhaps, he saw the writing on the wall? Suzuki ( and other manufacturers) have done many questionable things with regards to Racers and Teams, over the years, and Everts was just the latest in a long line. At times, the accountants, rule. Well, they always do.

Jacky Martens seems to be the latest long time, high profile participant in the sport, to be left hanging. I really do hope he and his people remain in the sport.

There is always a reason.. when people 'dont understand' why things happen, irs because they dont know the back story... its the same when people ask ' how come this team or that guy always gets a deal'... its because they are doing something that the people who pay the bills are happy to keep paying them. Those that cant get help when you would expect they can, obviously arent .

I like to think of it as a tree bending the same way as the wind , not kissing ass.
It makes it easier to deal with and get on in life.

So who is officially announced in MXGP?

HRC - Gajser
RB KTM - Herlings
De Carli KTM - Cairoli
De Carli KTM - Prado
Wilvo Yamaha - Seewer
Wilvo Yamaha - Paulin
Wilvo Yamaha - Tonus
KRT Kawasaki - Desalle
KRT Kawasaki - Febvre
Rockstar Husky - Jonass
Rockstar Husky - Jasikonis
Standing KTM - Coldenhoff
Standing KTM - Monticelli
Gebben ? - Lupino
SM Action ? - Jacobi
SM Action ? - Cervelin ?

That's 16, not really sure if Cervellin has been announced though and don't know the makes for Gebben & SM action And there will be another HRC rider (Evans?), likely van Horebeek at Motobluez, a 2nd Gebben i would think, and i would expect Lieber and Anstie both getting a full time ride. So something like 20-21 full time rides?
That still leaves Vlaanderen, Sterry, Simpson, Bogers, Tixier and Searle looking for a ride.

Good summary ;

About Tixier, he did a video with motoverte yesterday or a couple days ago, he is happy where he is at, so it is highly probable he will stay at VHR KTM. It is a small team, a bit like for Van Horebeek, so I hope they get some factory support.

I would add Paturel to the list. If i remember correctly he has been injured plus got the epstein barr this year, but he can run between the top 10/top 15 too.

Lots of fast riders looking for a ride still, this year in particular because 6 or 7 mx2 riders are forced to move up.

Are the pay to ride on the full factory teams done for 2020? It seems so, or is there another?

From rumours it seems that on 95% JD Gunnex KTM will have Richard Šikyňa for another year.

I think Boisrame will ride for F&H Kawasaki next year.

With all these riders confirmed to go out of the MX2 class, I see him along with Forato and Rubini battling for podium results in 2020...

The short version:

It used to be two teams for both classes. The 450 team run by De Carli and the 250 team run by Dirk Gruebel. Then came the time for Herlings to move up on the 450 but he wanted to stay with 250 team run by Dirk Gruebel (De Carli and Cairoli are tight, really tight). Jorge Prado raced his first MX2 year under the 250 team but then moved to the De Carli team and is now basically an understudy for Cairoli/De Carli and the future for that side of the KTM MXGP effort.
Outstanding explanation

Vaessen will first have to be cleared medically. At Lommel he had no full function in one of his arms. If i understood correctly he should get this back and he wanted to come back but it was wait and see

I don't think he is officially announced, not sure though. Multiple online media parties have been saying he is signed but it is unsure if it is going to be mxgp or mx2, depending on who else they might be able to sign.
