When I was younger, I worked at Yamaha of Cucamonga in Rancho Cucamonga, CA. Greg Schnell was a local guy and would come in to buy VP fuel from us every so often. He was always super cool and would hang out for a bit to talk with us about his racing stuff. He would also bring Cody Mackie in with him after he moved to the US from Australia. Cole Seely was dating my ex-wife's cousin. We went over to the aunt's house on Christmas eve and he was there just hanging out. I think this was his first year on the HRC 450. Told him I was a washed up B class rider and a fan. He was very cool / normal. It was Christmas and it was a family event so I didn't talk moto with him much. I just remember asking him if it was living the dream riding the factory Honda 450... He just replied "pretty much" with a smile. Nice guy, regular conversations, etc...

My daughter wanted a picture with Marvin so we walked over and he was more than happy, and signed a poster for her. Also we’ve hung out with Taka at the track and a while ago, I met up and rode with Twitch and his big group out in the hills. Including Tyler Bereman, Vickie Golden, Josh Hansen, Robbie Maddison, and a bunch of other freestyle dudes. All of them super cool. Also saw Jeremy McGrath at Dirty Fest racing bmx a couple weeks ago but I didn’t talk to him.

My brother played golf with MC2 right after he went SX only. He was hanging around at a golf course. Literally . They needed a fourth and he offered to fill in. I told my brother that after a few holes he should have told him he was screwing his fans not racing outdoors so he could get in his head. He said he could have since he was the best golfer in the group but he barely acknowledged him as a pro racer.

We were also in Nashville for the sx at a private event at Tootsie and chatted one on one with Dale Jr. for about 10 mins. Super down to earth and engaging.

I know this is going to get hate, but me and my wife ran into Haiden Deegan in Nashville 2 years ago the night before Supercross. He was with his little entourage who seemed a little much, but he was nice enough to stop and take a picture with me and my wife, and multiple other people while walking around Nashville.

Someone posted a picture of RC getting help from a Publix employee when he was having problems with the self checkout in a Facebook group once. Josh Grant came into the dealership I worked at a few years ago to buy his kid a new Stacyc. JT also came in with our WPS rep to show the Fly formula off when it first came out as well. Last time I was at Budds, we got in the elevator to head to breakfast and when we walked in Bobby Ragan and his wife were in there heading down as well.

I ran into DeanO at a LA fitness in Temecula back in 2011 and he was by himself doing his thing, chatted with him a bit. A month or two later I ran into him at a club in old town and was back shootin the shit with him. DeanO always been cool as hell.

Fuck man, I read the Ryno story and was seeing it play out in my head, then once I got to the Milky Ways, the BS meter went off and then I’m thinking “ok, I’ve heard this before”. I did a quick copy paste, learn, it’s copy pasta and come back to the thread to see your mention of Seely. The vision of Seely loaded down with Milky Ways comes to fruition. I knew I recognized the story. Only the first time, the Milky Ways are what sealed it for me lol

Nashville Supercross this year was in Morgan wallens bar and me and my buddy are at the bar buying a drink, my buddy goes why do i recognize that guy thats across the bar from us, I look it and its Jeremy McGrath, Jeremy noticed us talking and looking at him and knew we recognized him and he waved us over and we talked about the race that night. Dude is truly just a huge fan of the sport deal, after that was over I asked if he cared for a pic, was definitely really cool

I was on a road trip up the PCH in 2018 and RV and his wife roll up in the parking lot of Point Lobos State Park. We saw each other, he knew I knew, and I let them be. Then it was weird cuz we went on the same little hike and I felt like I was following him around lol I snagged a pic. Random side note. My friend to the right is Max Vohland’s uncle and I had to explain to him who RV was haha
