Here's a big difference between Vince and the rest of the 450 riders: Eli Tomac can hear and sense someone coming up behind him and on the inside of him. Eli and others will hit the brakes to keep from getting taken out from someone coming up the inside that has a better line. Vince, ignores everything behind him, beside him, and even in front of him. The only way I'm giving him a pass is if he has hearing or vision problems.

That isn’t really what he said, is it? He basically said he was not sure what else the rider was supposed to do, short of slamming on the brakes. But yes, RC, that is exactly what he should have done. The whole point is that if you leave the track, you should return where you left it. That might take more time, but that is the deterrent. A rider should not be able to leave the track and then keep going until it is convenient to rejoin. People miss turns or sections all the time and then take the smoother...

RC literally said on the broadcast, you brake, turn right and go over the line. Why should someone that doesn’t make it around the proper track get an advantage over someone that does? The people behind him managed to make it over the finish line. Simple as that
