They're in different trucks, riding in different classes. You're grabbing a random theory out of the air.

I feel that saying their " 450 program is based on one rider who cant win" is a bit harsh. Their one guy is in 3rd place against two riders that at this point might be the two best riders on the planet. Only so much any of the teams and riders can do against Hondas 450 program right now. The 250 program absolutely seems like a meat grinder though but they still have Davies for now.

Not meaning to stray too far away from the sport, but I have a similar story. Earlier this year my wife & I visited a venue on a sunny Saturday afternoon, it was a taproom with live music. We have a puppy, he was about five months old at the time and a little girl came wandering over knelt down and was making a fuss of him. “Look grandad, look how cute he is!” She called across to her family. Grandad came over, made a fuss of the dog, we had a chat, discussed the music and the beer and...

Not a moto story, but it just happened so I had to share. I help coach my sons baseball team and former NFL MVP Matt Ryan was coaching a team that we played in a tournament last weekend.

Anyone here break their pelvis and recover quickly to race again? I broke mine in 3 places and have what is called a complete "O" ring fracture. I have recovered enough to walk without a walker or cane. Some days after exercise I feel like I have steel cables in my hips instead of tendons..I can ride bicycle on street, not ready for MTB trail yet. Also doing light weights at gym. Any tips on getting my hips moving easier?

I had a similar pelvis fracture a few years ago. Yours sounds a bit more complicated than mine. I fell from about 3 stories to my feet and the force went through my legs and basically out my pelvis. I had a lot of soft tissue damage and lots of bruising along with my core basically being destroyed. After PT, I actually started doing hockey designed stretching and hip mobility exercises. To this day, I still wake up and while in bed, stretch my hips and legs before getting out of bed. Its a rough recovery but take a look...

Is there a privateer housing “community?” Places where privateers can stay when on the road? I live somewhat close to redbud, wife and kid will be gone for this week… so lots of room. We used to be a billet family for junior hockey kids and that worked out well for everyone. Figured might be able to help some racers out and maybe get some more mid week riding in.

hannah rode a works bike at the 87 mxdn, not remotely close to a stock 87. there are some photos if you can find them, showing clearly the case reed engine, which didnt make production until 1989 model year.

I was watching the webb helmet cam of southwick and noticed they completely removed the switchback before buckley berm so now its just a straight away. I was wondering why tf they would take this iconic part out of the track so I looked around a bit and figured out they did it to put in a new vip seating area. Wtf! The tracks have all become way more straight than they used to be lots of pros complain about this how its making all the tracks super high speed cuz a lot of the switchbacks and slow sections have...

The explanation(s) that are obvious and that no one wants to hear… Many of our tracks/facilities are rural…way out there on country roads with limited access; and, often, with one road in & out. Hell, even Unadilla seems like a pain in the ass to me…but, it’s worth it. Back in the day, Hollister was waaaay out there to most people…and like Unadilla…it was worth it. Leave for the race EARLY. Leave after the race…LATE. These last few years, I’ve “come and gone” from the Nat’s and quite a few SXs on my ADV (even A1/A2 can be a PITA).

I responded to Roller Decoasters post about being a chase driver for Jeff Ward and Micky Dymond for the race across the west bicycle race and got picked. During the 2 days before the race they shared some of the stories from "back in the day" , holy shit... lol. Big Thank You to Roller Decoaster for a week I will never forget. Along the way Tomac's and their son Eli came out to say hi and cheer them on, along with mtb legend Greg Herbold. Don't know if that counts as "In the wild" but wow what a week...

Reminds me of the country singer who’s song had the lyrics “ and the loud mouth in the corner is getting to me”. Airhorns during list race interviews is irritating as heck.
