Thanks for posting this. Interesting that it doesn't mention the actual racing structure at all. It seems that the connectivity of the fan base was determined to be of the utmost importance. It would seem to apply largely to the MX more than the SX from that aspect.

not to get off track any further, but my 50mm Zokes were may favorite ever, still. I don't think the last of the great big bores like John Dowd rode did anything but help racing by having some variety, even if he couldn't hold onto his holeshots it was fun rooting for the old guy and his unorthodox engine choice.

I don't care to watch races on it or ride it. Track cut too deep. What started as one unique section at Glen Helen became a fad. Orthopedic Dr's love this stuff.

Nothing is stopping the manufacturer's now and they can't hit the weight limit besides KTM/Husky. I do agree however, If it is open, let it be open engine, weight, cost etc. Any other silly rules besides what setup a rider or team believes can win more races need to be tossed.

Any idea if the Enduro's will get the new chassis and engine updates? It looks like KTM is sticking with PDS on their's which is a non-starter for MX.

It's not like it's that hard.. It's been around a while. All the enduro bikes have it. There have been a few "backwards" conversion turning enduro's into MX'er to gain the starter motor. It's just a pride thing that the Jap MX bike makers don't want to be "forced" into it. If KTM hadn't developed an outstanding all around...
