9/6/2021 6:25am DeCoster needs to look no further than his own team: Cooper Webb. Add in Savatgy and Mosiman. That's not a bad team given all else.

9/6/2021 6:25am So what? Send the best available healthy riders that want to represent the USA. If we take 25th so what? That’s just who we are as a country compared to the world then. Now what? We only go when we can win lol? Cowardly piss weak excuse. What are the names of the individuals responsible for this decision?

Everything an honest observer needs to know about Ken occurs in the first few laps. Only Tomac, on his best "Beast-Mode" days, can match the pace Ken has in the early laps. He makes the fastest riders in the world look like they all simultaneously started missing shifts and finding false neutrals. After that initial sprint, he starts conserving energy due to all the injuries he's had, injuries that still have a debilitating effect on his stamina due to, among other things, the meds he was on. He's not weak, he's not slow, he's not witless, he's not feckless -...

9/6/2021 6:17am Imagine living in a world where you could puke, almost pass out and still podium a 450 national. If I could do that they'd have to blur out the bottom half of my body on the podium because my boner would be super offensive.

Roczen had a fantastic year. 2nd in SX 2nd in MX Multiple wins in both series Made $Millions$ in less than 12 months Stayed relatively injury free all year. He’s the best all-around rider we had this year and you guys are dogging him for backing off a bit after he KNEW Ferrandis locked up the championship? Mind boggling…

not a big deal but the post was more to the effect of " i got dizzy and last time i got dizzy i puked so i backed it down until i got myself back together, and held on for 3rd" did not actually throw up this time.

My point is not to 'pick' on him. It is to point out that he did not prepare properly OR as you all suggest it is just not possible for him to ride well if it is 90 degrees or higher. If the latter is the case then he has no chance of ever winning an MX title. I contend he did not prepare properly. That is the only explanation for the last two races. Not being ready for heat is 'fixable' if he wants to fix it.

He said (I think on IG) that he puked in moto 1 and has a propensity to pass out after puking so he backed way off for a lap or two and then tried to pick it back up to salvage 3rd. Moto 2 was just a sufferfest (his words).

If you don't believe that Kenny was well aware of the title and the points, I'm not sure what to say. Kenny didn't have a mental meltdown. If he did, was due to the actual heat lol. You could see him laboring seat bouncing things others weren't as well as looking like jello on the bike. Mere mortals know all too well what that feels like.

9/5/2021 9:32pm Close, but not quite the same thing. While the rider can use a button to change between maps, or engage launch control, nothing within the ECU parameters are changing once that mode is selected. So that’s what we call a static or dead setting, meaning it cannot dynamically change during operator use. Factory ECUs may very well be running “live” schemes where the TC loop is constantly self-evaluating (at every throttle position and in all gears) and adjusting itself to maintain certain performance targets set by the tuner.

9/5/2021 9:30pm That's me. I took them when I was riding there Thursday. Truck has been parked since the start of last week. Hasn't moved. Asked the girl at the window and she said she had no idea. I drive by the track every morning on my way to work hoping to see something. Have been disappointed so far. If anything interesting occurs I'll be sure to post about it.

mxtech1 Liked a reply to forum topic Fuel Spray - fuel overheating. Prevention must start NOW !!
9/5/2021 9:27pm After thinking on this for awhile, I tend to agree with you. Let’s say a rider gets sprayed with gas and his gear gets fairly saturated, then he falls down in a corner or goes over the bars and ends up underneath the bike. What if he ends up under the header or mid-pipe with the fuel soaked gear contacting the pipe? Is it combustible? How fast does gear burn? Will it melt into the riders skin? How fast could a fire extinguisher be accessed if it happened? At first I thought all this was pretty silly, but I don’t...

9/5/2021 9:26pm Why not vent the tank to the atmosphere like a two stroke so it doesn’t build up pressure? I realize boiling fuel may still cause issues with running well, but no fires or fuel in the eyes/mouth or crotch.
