It's been explained over and over the reason Deegan gets criticised is because he was going on the podium and using patriotic rhetoric, which you would think meant he'd be first in line to represent his country..

It all goes back to this (see pic). If Anstie had recently stood up on the podium and made hyper nationalist comments designed to shit on the Lawrences - then decided not to go the MXDN (for whatever reason) - he would have got shit. However, leaving that aside - and if we believe the whole reason for Deegan and now Anstie not going is Star Racing - perhaps we should start shitting all over Star Racing instead. I bet they're all about the USA in their attitudes and comments, just not when it comes to actually representing it. And...

This has been on my mind since the first race at Pala, and I hear others asking about it. I can't help but notice that Brian Deegan is behind the gate with Haiden and his mechanic before every moto. I also notice that Pro Circuit has more mechanics than riders with them prepping behind the gate before the motos, and the AMAPro officials supervising behind the gate see them and say nothing. AMA Pro Racing rules state that the only person allowed behind the gate for the main motos is the racer's signal pass mechanic. Meanwhile, I get yelled at...

Off the bike I’ll probably never be a fan, admittedly I like the guys who just let their riding do the talk. On the track however, there’s no denying the kid is putting in the work and earning his way. Considering where he came from it’d be easy to get spoiled and not grind. Only thing I would add is on the whole “wait till he comes for Jett”. His Barcia esque style on the 250 may not translate well. Sounds like he’s still VERY sore.. Having to compensate with using his legs more than usual. Riding so conservative that he can’t be himself out there. Fighting for moto wins that are usually, when he’s healthy, a lot easier to ride…& win. So, he’s probably a bit pissed. I get it. Can’t blame him in the slightest. He’s still kicking ass.
