I quit racing when I was 18 because I couldn't afford it either. So I jumped over to BMX racing which is pretty fun and cheap.

Make Supercross and Motocross one series. Stretch out the scheduling with less races for the sake of the riders health. Points would be interesting since you have some riders that are better at SX than MX and vise-versa. Just a thought.
